TSUKIUTA. The Animation 2, produced by Children’s Playground Entertainment, is finally set to premiere on October 7th. The anime was initially scheduled to premiere in 2019, before being delayed to April 2020 and then again to July 2020 before this latest delay to October.

After the massive success of season one, we are now hoping to get the new season after such a long wait. The story of this anime had us stunned from the very first episode.
It’s beautiful, it’s magnificent, and most importantly, it adds value to our lives. Six Gravity and Procellarum are two rival male idol groups who happen to live in the same dorm.
Six Gravity is made up of young men representing the months of December to May, while Procellarum’s members represent June to November. The story follows these twelve young men’s daily lives as they deal with the stresses of idol-hood, school, and living together.
The anime will feature new staff and studio. Yukio Nishimoto directed the anime at Children’s Playground Entertainment.
Natsuko Takahashi was in charge of the series scripts. Michinori Chiba and Ai Yokoyama are adapting Jiku’s original character designs for animation.
The new season will premiere on Tokyo MX on October 7th at 10:30 p.m. Later that night, it will also premiere on KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and Nagoya TV, before debuting on BS11 on October 8th at 24:00.
