After saving Lana from a group of thugs, Misumi escorts her to Tapa Village. Misumi notices the group of bandits having a campfire in the forest and takes them all out.

Misumi has defeated the bandits named ‘Moon over the Ruined Castle.’ However, there may be more to their story. It is unlikely that the bandits coincidentally chose the name of Misumi’s favorite poem. Misumi may encounter someone from the real world in the future who also shares the same poetic interest.
Moreover, Misumi now knows the location of the two heroes. During Misumi’s adventures, he is sure to run into them both. However, since they were in this world before Misumi, they are likely highly experienced and much more powerful.

3. Recap of Episode 1
No one is unluckier than Misumi Makoto, who was forced into a reincarnated life trying to follow in his parent’s footsteps. At the Town of Obitt, Misumi notices they’ve nearly reached Rotsgard. Misumi thinks about Tomoe and Mio, who were left in charge of the Demiplane.
Mio had tried to create some curry rice and made a disgusting mixture of minerals and other items. Tomoe realizes that Mio doesn’t know the basics of cooking and tries to teach her. Meanwhile, Misumi chats with a bartender about slimes and his current route.
Misumi walks into the guild and looks over the pinned quests. Misumi overhears a lady complaining about ‘Moon over the Ruined Castle’ attacking. The lady breaks down, upset about the misfortune she’s facing even after praying to the goddess all her life.
Some thugs from the tavern ambush the lady after she leaves, but Misumi interferes. Misumi uses his healing powers to help Lana’s friend, Eto. Misumi asks about the village attack, and Lana says that Tapa Village is basically finished.
Misumi picks Lana and Eto up while jumping over the trees towards their village. Lana runs inside to explain the situation to the villagers. Meanwhile, Misumi chats with Eto about his origins and natural ability. Mio’s cooking has no improvement since she keeps picking up sharp and inedible ingredients.
Moreover, the various demihumans who live in the village have different tastes. Tomoe says that Mio must properly learn by traveling the land and exploring the world of cooking. Misumi spots the bandits around a campfire in the forest and shoots them all with arrows. The villagers notice the flames from afar and rush to the crime scene.
Misumi is escorted to the inn for the night while Shiki tells him about the heroes. Shiki had heard that they were being treated hospitably by the Limia Kingdom and Gritonia Empire. Misumi is excited to meet the heroes one day in the future.

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto.
