Episode 7 is titled “Wondrous Medicine Production.”

It’s evident that Rembrandt is going to prepare the medicine to heal his family’s curse with the help of Makoto’s Alchemist friend.

I’m still unsure if Rembrandt is trustworthy or not as the mysterious person tailing Makoto seems to hold a huge grudge against him.

I’d like to believe that Rembrandt is a decent man, and Makoto will be able to be on friendly terms with him.

I also feel like Makoto will befriend the mysterious guy gathering adventurers to stop Rembrandt and the medicine productions. Obviously,  I expect them to engage in battle first.

Rembrandt looks down on Makoto as he is a level 1 adventurer. As he is about to dismiss him, Makoto surprises him with two ruby eyes, which he desperately needs.

Rembrandt apologizes to Makoto and, as compensation, tells him his reason for wanting these ruby eyes.

He says that his family has been cursed. The curse is so strong that he cannot even start preparing the medicine to save them unless he has multiple ruby eyes.

Makoto sympathizes with him and provides him with more ruby eyes. Rembrandt is so happy that it brings him to tears. Makoto even helps him by referring to his personal Alchemist to prepare the medicine.

After this meetup, Makoto goes to to the Merchant Guild to register. He is made to take two tests that he clears with flying colors quickly, which has never been done before.

Meanwhile, Tomoe has returned from her training and has not reported back to Makoto. On the other hand, Mio is made to translate Makoto’s memories.

The episode ends with Makoto meeting with his Alchemist friend and heads to Rembrandt’s place while a mysterious guy decides to ruin the process of preparing the medicine.
