Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- episode 9, titled “Eat or Be Eaten,” was released this week. 

Last, we saw Emma inform Makoto about the difficulties among different species in the Demiplane. He decided to make everyone share their tactics with each other and work together to become significantly stronger. He also told Tomoe to train Toa’s party. 

Now, the caretakers of the red lotus fended off humans who were trying to seek the red lotus for their financial profit. Mio and Tomoe informed Makoto that unknowingly he was dying and reviving himself every time he tried to conceal his presence.

Episode 10 Speculations and Discussions

Episode 10 is titled “Hidden Ogre Village.”

Now that our Makoto is almost at the same power level as the Goddess of this world, he cannot be defeated by mere humans and monsters.

Obviously, we will see Makoto unleash some of his powers and defend himself and Mio from the ogres protecting the red lotus.

I’m sure Makoto will clear the air by stating that he never intended to steal the red lotus, leading to him winning their trust. 

Although, we can anticipate the appearance of the Goddess who will try to eliminate Makoto, now that his power level keeps on increasing.   

Episode 10 Release Date

Episode 10 of the Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy anime has been released on Wednesday, Sep 08, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

No, Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- is not on break this week. Episode 10 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

Recap of Episode 9

Episode 9, titled “Eat or Be Eaten,” starts with the caretakers of the Red Lotus eliminating humans who are trying to steal their flowers. 

Meanwhile, a party is thrown to celebrate the establishment of Makoto’s trading company. 

Everyone in the demi-plane is honored to be able to share this moment with Makoto. Tomoe drags Mio away, telling her that this is the time for the others to enjoy their time with Makoto.

Makoto entertains everyone till they’re content and then proceeds to practice his archery later.

During this moment, Mio and Tomoe rush to Makoto’s side as his presence disappears. They then proceed to tell him that every time he draws his bow and conceals his presence, he unknowingly kills himself and is reborn. 

Tomoe also says that his power level keeps increasing and has no limit as he keeps doing this. She states that he is now on par with the Goddess, which will make her want to eliminate him.

Later, Makoto finds himself in the red light district by accident. Tomoe and Mio are offended and offer themselves to him forcefully, but he escapes to the demi-plane.

The following day, he goes to the forest with Mio to search for the Red Lotus and negotiate with the caretakers. 

The caretakers confront him and call him out for being a thief, but he asks them to give him a chance to talk. 

As he is about to negotiate with them, some other humans arrive and try to claim the Red Lotus, making them seem like thieves. 

The episode ends with the caretakers attacking Makoto and the others, as the penalty for stealing the Red Lotus is death.

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto.

It began serialization online in 2012 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. An anime television series premiered in July 2021.

The fantasy centers around Makoto Misumi, an ordinary high school boy summoned to an alternate world as a brave warrior. Unfortunately, the goddess of the world banished him to the outermost fringes of the wilderness.

While wandering the wilderness, Makoto encountered dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves, and all sorts of other non-human species.

Due to differences in the environment from his home world, Makoto now exhibits extraordinary powers in magic and combat.

The curtain rises on the alternate-world social reform fantasy of a boy forsaken by gods and humans.
