The two childhood friends promise each other that one day they would stand on that stage together. Years later, when they are 16, fate brings them together once again in a mysterious audition.
The slice of life manga is well accepted by fans, and the franchise is trying its best to make the manga even more popular with new ideas.
On December 27, the official Twitter account for the Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight franchise announced that mangaka Tsubaki Ayasugi will draw a manga adaptation of the franchise’s Butai Shōjo Kageki Revue Starlight The LIVE Aoarashi Blue Glitter stage play.
The manga will be released on April 8, 2021, in Bushiroad’s Monthly Bushiroad magazine.
Stage blue storm performance is decided to be comicalized. The manga is drawn by Mr. Tsubaki Ayasugi, who was also in charge of the stage “Starlight -The LIVE-” and “-The LIVE- # 2.” Serialization starts from the issue released on April 8, 2021

The stage play was scheduled to run in Tokyo from December 18-27, but unfortunately, the runs on the first three days were cancelled as one of the people involved in it gets COVID positive.
Tsubaki Ayasugi previously drew an adaptation of the first two plays, published in the Monthly Bushiroad magazine starting in 2018. The manga comprises of two volumes.
Bushiroad also came up with a stage musical and television anime project in April 2017. The 12-episode television anime series premiered in July 2018.
The franchise also inspired a new mini anime titled Shōjo☆Konto All Starlight. Lastly, they came up with an anime film that got delayed due to COVID 19 pandemic situation and will debut on May 21, 2021.
Nothing seems to be going right for Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight franchise, as they have failed to gain the popularity the series deserves.
However, the franchise is looking forward to its future projects, which is expected to compensate for the things that went wrong in 2020.

The anime Revue Starlight had been licensed for United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Germany and other selected states by Sentai Filmworks.
The original anime series has 12 episodes and aired from July 12, 2018 – September 27, 2018. It is written by Tatsuto Higuchi and directed by Tomohiro Furukawa. They are also responsible for the film Revue Starlight Rondo Rondo Rondo.
Hikari and Ajio are childhood friends who have promised to perform together in the future but as time goes by they are separated and attend different schools.
Karen enrolls in the Seisho Music Academy to continue working toward their promise. This academy trains students in acting, dancing and singing.
But a mysterious underground competition is held and it is hosted by a talking giraffe. Both Hikari and Ajio get involved. They perform together to outdo the other participants and to reach achieve the top star title.
