Trials of Mana Costume Guide: Unlock All Characters’ Class Costumes

The remake of Trials of Mana has given players nostalgia for old-school games. Many players have found the role-playing game to lack some features.

Patch 1.1.0 of Trials of Mana introduces several requested quality-of-life changes, including the ability to reset your character to level one, higher difficulty settings, and Chain Abilities. The highlight is improving the game’s costume system.

1. How to get the costumes for all classes in Trials of Mana?

To unlock costumes in Trials of Mana-

  1. Characters must reach level 18 and choose either a Light or Dark path for Class 2.
  2. At level 38, special tags or items are used to advance to Class 3, unlocking new costumes.
  3. After reaching the final class, you can unlock their ultimate costumes with unique spheres or items tailored to their classpath.

Let us take a look at how each character can obtain all the costumes related to both attributes and all classes in Trials of Mana.

2. Saving Outfits Across Classes

In the base game, costumes were automatically discarded when resetting classes or starting the New Game Plus. Players can now collect and keep costumes even when changing class branches. (Which is a much-welcomed feature).

This is useful in post-game content, especially for challenging those difficult optional bosses that may require specific builds. However, costumes are unfortunately not available for old saves. Players must use class-change items or reach post-game content to reclaim outfits.
