Transformers 7 Leaked Photos Show Optimus Prime And Bumblebee’s New Look

Just a while ago, it was revealed that we were getting a new Transformers film inspired by the Beast Wars. The film, titled Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, will be introducing the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons as they join the existing battle on Earth between Autobots and Decepticons.

Steven Caple Jr. will be directing the film. And now, leaked set photos gave fans an update and revealed that Optimus Prime will return alongside Bumblebee. The update came via Cris Parker (@3CFilm) on Twitter.

A yellow car with two black stripes is Bumblebee’s iconic look and is similar to the one he transforms into at the end of the Bumblebee film. Whereas Optimus Prime’s truck form bore a strong resemblance and seemed inspired by his comics form.

This is an exciting update as  Optimus Prime’s simpler design hints that the franchise is returning to more cartoon-accurate designs from Bumblebee.

Now that Michael Bay has left the franchise, there’s a great chance to redefine the story and move away from his vision.

Michael Bay helped make the Transformers franchise one of the biggest in the world, but its future lies in the different direction that 2018’s Bumblebee took.

Paramount revealed earlier this year that the movie will star Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback in a story set in the 1990s.

Transformers 7 will feature the live-action debut of different Beast Wars characters and have Optimus Prime and Bumblebee; the two have been in all Transformers movies to date.

With Caple’s vision, it’ll be interesting to see what Optimus Prime and Bumblebee’s alternate forms look like in the final version of the film.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set for a release on 24 June 2022.
