Tower of God’s manga, written by Lee Jong-hui, made its debut in 2010. Recently it was picked up for an anime adaptation by Telecom Animation Film.
The first episode of Tower of God, titled “BALL,” was recently released on Crunchyroll. The episode covers the first six chapters of the manga. The episode follows Bam as he faces several challenges to be reunited with his only friend – Rachel.

About Tower of God:
Tower of God is a South Korean webtoon written and drawn by Lee Jong-hui. It was published in 2010 as the first story in the “Talse Uzer” universe. It is released for free on Naver and Line Webtoon. As of February 2020, the Tower of God has collected 4.5 billion views worldwide.
The story revolves around a boy who goes by the name of Twenty-Fifth Bam. Bam has been living under a monstrously large tower all his life with his best friend, Rachel. It is said that whoever climbs to the top of the tower will get their wish granted. Therefore Rachel leaves the underground to climb the tower for her only wish – to see the vast blue sky.
Bam follows Rachel into the tower to bring her back. However, he soon realizes that he is out of his depth. The tower has been there for over 10,000 years, during which many people have tried to change or drive its fate. This dark fantasy is filled with mysteries clubbed with the struggles of different factions inside of the tower.
