You can get a Torch in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II in two ways:
1. Buy from merchants
There are many traders who sell Torches. It is a basic item so you don’t need to splurge. A Torch will cost you around 5-6 Groschen. You can even negotiate a lower price.
2. Loot from NPCs
Oftentimes, an NPC will be carrying a Torch with them. You can either kill them first then loot their supply or rob them or even pickpocket them. Someone out in the wild is more likely to possess a Torch than a townsperson.
How to Use a Torch in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II?
Now that you have got yourself a Torch, you just need to equip it to its dedicated slot to begin using it.

Open the Inventory and either double click on the Torch or drag it to its slot to equip it. Press ‘R’ whenever you need to use it.
PlayStation
Open the Inventory and select the Torch. Press ‘X to equip it. Hold down ‘D-Pad Down’ when you want to take it out.
Xbox
