Promise of the Wizard was an online simulation video game adapted into an anime this year. However, many fans have dropped it because they found it extremely boring and aren’t content with the characters.

Although the plot sounds interesting as a concept, where the protagonist, Akira Maki, gets transported into a fantasy world and has to lead an army of wizards from different regions to protect their realm from a threat called “The Great Calamity.”

Viewers found the male leads to be hollow characters without any depth, making the story feel superficial and an eyesore.

1. Honey Lemon Soda

Honey Lemon Soda was one of the most awaited anime as the manga was a hit in Japan; however, the anime garnered new viewers who found the typical shoujo tropes repetitive and boring.

This is a diluted version of Kimi ni Todoke, in which Sawako Kuronuma’s character mirrors Uka’s. Both are shy girls with eccentric personalities who are paired with extroverts like Shouta Kazehaya and Kai Miura.

However, Honey Lemon Soda has toned down the humor and its length which some fans found as boring as watching the paint dry.
