However, its burst-fire nature makes it difficult to master. Therefore, the newcomers in the game could have a difficult time with this weapon. Its slow fire rate may seem annoying to many.

The M4A1 is one of the most balanced guns in the game. It is available by default in the game. It boasts decent firepower, medium range, and versatility; both in terms of its use and modification possibilities.
It has an extraordinary fire rate, minimal recoil, and quick ADS speed. Unfortunately, it lacks slightly in the damage and range criteria, which could be the deciding factor in a high-skill lobby. Nevertheless, it is the perfect weapon to practice and get good at the game.

The gun has a difficult recoil pattern, but it is not a deal-breaker. Moreover, it has the poorest mobility and ADS time in the game, but a 20-50ms difference should not make that much of a difference in multiplayer competitive lobbies.

AK-47 is the best assault rifle in XDefiant because of its high damage dispensing capabilities at any range and quickest reloading time. It offers a decent ADS time and mobility. It can down an enemy in just 3-4 headshots or 5-6 body shots.
Unfortunately, like all the other guns it has some drawbacks. It offers a slow fire rate and a painfully difficult-to-master recoil. However, all of it does not matter as long as you keep practicing.
