Top 12 Best Anime with Fanservice Ever! What Anime Has The Best Fanservice?

Everyone loves a little eye candy every now and then, right?

Although anime is often criticized for fanservice, sometimes, you just need something to watch that’s easy on the eyes and the brain. Many anime even manage to strike a balance between the two!

A little fanservice can go a long way to make a viewer more invested in a show or make the show itself more fun to watch overall! I can’t imagine an anime like Food Wars being as funny as it is without the very sensual— and iconic —foodgasms. Plus, there’s the added fun of tormenting a friend by recommending it to them without warning them to watch it in privacy!

Since I’ve been a shojo-anime junkie for most of my life, this list might lean a little more towards anime with female-oriented fanservice. But rest assured! There’s a little something for everyone!

12. Brothers Conflict

A reverse harem with fourteen pretty boys! What more could you ask for? Brothers Conflict follows the story of Ema as she becomes a part of the Asahina family after her father remarries– giving her fourteen gorgeous step-brothers all vying for her attention! The light novel series was even adapted into an otome game!

I’ll admit the plot might sound a little weird, but the anime does deliver on fanservice! An added bonus is the irresistibly catchy ending theme song sung by the voice actors themselves. Take a look for yourself!

The cast includes Yuki Kaji and Junichi Suwabe as two of the brothers and Hiroshi Kamiya(Levi Ackerman!) as Ema’s pet squirrel!

11. Bungou Stray Dogs

Bungou Stray Dogs

Air Date: April 7, 2016 Status: Airing Studio: Bones No. of Seasons: 5 No. of Episodes: 61
Watch Bungou Stray Dogs on:

Let me just start by saying everyone in this anime is just beautiful! Bungou Stray Dogs follows the story of Atsushi Nakajima as he gets involved with a mysterious set of detectives with supernatural powers! The plot is actually really good in this case, with some fantastic fight scenes!

Overall an anime full of pretty boys to keep your eyes glued to the screen throughout!

10. Banana Fish

Banana Fish

Air Date: July 6, 2018 Status: Finished Studio: MAPPA No. of Seasons: 1 No. of Episodes: 24
Watch Banana Fish on:

Warning: This anime hurts!

Aside from stealing every fujoshi’s heart and breaking it into a million pieces, this anime is really good!

Banana Fish | Source: Fandom

Banana Fish follows the story of Ash Lynx, a street thug in New York, and Eiji, a Japanese student on a trip to America as they bond and uncover the mystery around a deadly drug– all while trying to stay a step ahead of the mafia. The anime has everything from mystery to action and even touches on darker elements like trauma.

Fanservice-wise, Ash Lynx does not disappoint! Honestly, even one of the antagonists, Yut-Lung, is drop-dead stunning!

9. Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama

Maid-Sama!

Air Date: April 2, 2010 Status: Finished Studio: J.C.Staff No. of Seasons: 1 No. of Episodes: 26
Watch Maid-Sama! on:

Usui Takumi has been raising the bar way too high since 2010. I nearly can’t believe this anime is over ten years old since I’m still just as obsessed with Usui since I first laid eyes on him!

Maid-Sama! | Source: Fandom

Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama is all about the pining! It follows the adorable story of Usui and Misaki as he finds out about her secret part-time job at a maid-cafe and relentlessly pursues and torments(as Misaki would claim) her!

Bonus: There’s a little fanservice for the guys too! If maid outfits and tsundere protagonists are your thing, you’re sure to love Misaki!

8. Black Butler

Black Butler follows Ciel Phantomhive, a nobleman who makes a contract with a demonic— and might I add, very attractive —butler. The plot itself is very interesting and a good blend of comedy and darker elements.

But that’s not what we’re here for. Yana Taboso knew precisely what she was doing with Sebastian Michaelis’ character design! The beautiful demonic butler is sure to have all-female viewers drooling! Demon or not, I can’t help but fangirl over Sebastian, and to make things worse, he’s even prettier in the manga! I’m absolutely obsessed!

7. Fairy Tail

Fairy Tail

Air Date: October 12, 2009 Status: Finished Studio: A-1 Pictures, Satelight, Bridge, CloverWorks No. of Seasons: 9 No. of Episodes: 328
Watch Fairy Tail on:

Although Fairy Tail was criticized for overdoing it a bit with the fanservice, one can’t deny it’s still an excellent shonen anime. The plot centers around a group of wizards, their antics, adventures, and the bond they share as part of the legendary guild named Fairy Tail.

During the earlier seasons, most of the anime’s fanservice was in the form of comedic relief or Lucy’s many revealing outfits or Erza’s very risqué armors! Later seasons even gave us some man service in the form of Gray’s Devil Slayer Mode.

6. Food Wars

Food Wars!

Air Date: April 4, 2015 Status: Finished Studio: J.C.Staff No. of Seasons: 5 No. of Episodes: 86
Watch Food Wars! on:

This is one anime you definitely cannot watch with your parents! Food Wars is an incredibly entertaining anime that follows the journey of Soma as he joins Totsuki Culinary School in an attempt to surpass and prove himself to his father.

Seems innocent enough, right? Well, it is except—  the reactions to tasting the food are over the top, to say the least, and very much… suggestive.

I’m talking clothes ripping off, turning into nymphs in a meadow, or flying around butt naked among clouds. Be sure to take precautions watching this anime to avoid any unnecessary explaining you might have to do!

PS: The food looks really delicious too and is bound to make you hungry, so don’t forget to grab a snack!

5. Prison School

Prison School

Air Date: July 11, 2015 Status: Finished Studio: J.C.Staff No. of Seasons: 1 No. of Episodes: 12
Watch Prison School on:

If you like Double-Ds and comedy, Prison School is the perfect anime for you! The anime kicks off when Kiyoshi Fujino and the only four other boys in Hachimitsu Academy are caught peeping into the girls’ bathroom. Consequently, the Underground Student Council wastes no time in locking them up in the school prison. What follows is an endless stream of ecchi comedy, over-the-top fanservice, and— bromance.

You might begin watching this show because of the fanservice, but you’ll fall in love with it because of how hilarious it is!

4. Free

Free!

Air Date: July 4, 2013 Status: Finished Studio: Kyoto Animation, Animation Do No. of Seasons: 3 No. of Episodes: 37
Watch Free! on:

Prepare to be fanning yourself throughout this one because Free is overflowing with incredibly handsome, ripped boys who spend a lot of time in the pool. As an added bonus, the anime subtly hints at relationships between the characters to tease and torment our fujoshi hearts!

Free! | Source: Fandom

Fanservice aside, Free has a good, reasonably engaging plot. Haru, the protagonist, forms a swim club after reuniting with two of his elementary school friends Nagisa and Makoto, while a rivalry takes root with the third friend, Rin. Watching the swim club members bond and express their passion for swimming makes this anime a charming watch.

3. Highschool Of The Dead

Highschool of the Dead

Air Date: July 5, 2010 Status: Finished Studio: Madhouse No. of Seasons: 1 No. of Episodes: 12
Watch Highschool of the Dead on:

If you’re looking to indulge in a straightforward harem with lots of ecchi elements, look no further! Highschool Of The Dead has a very simple plot– there’s a zombie outbreak, and our protagonist Takashi is just trying to stay alive with the other students in his high school.

The highlight of this anime is really the over-the-top, in-your-face fanservice. This anime does not hold back in the slightest with the jiggle!

Some might even call it trashy, but surely, there’s no harm in enjoying something trashy now and then!

2. Yuri On Ice

Yuri!!! on Ice

Air Date: October 6, 2016 Status: Finished Studio: MAPPA No. of Seasons: 1 No. of Episodes: 12
Watch Yuri!!! on Ice on:

Yuri On Ice is one of my personal favorites! The plot centers around figure skater Yuri Katsuki who, through a series of events, ends up having his idol, Viktor Nikiforov, offer to coach him. The relationship between them eventually develops and what follows is an anime so cute that it had me in tears by the end because I’d finished it. Viktor and Yuri’s pure relationship warmed my little fujoshi heart to the core!

Yuri On Ice | Source: Amazon

The fanservice in Yuri On Ice is unrivaled. Viktor is just– stunning. On the other hand, Yuri transforms once he’s on the rink with his hair slicked back.

This anime has it all, from ‘steamy’ shots of Viktor in the hot spring to Yuri’s provocative facial expressions while skating and Otabek pulling off Yuri Plisetsky’s glove with his teeth in the OVA that just gets me every time!

1. Highschool DxD

High School DxD

Air Date: January 6, 2012 Status: Finished Studio: TNK, Passione No. of Seasons: 4 No. of Episodes: 48
Watch High School DxD on:

Highschool DxD is the ultimate, unrivaled anime in terms of fanservice, and I’ve never met anyone who thinks otherwise. All I’m going to say is HOT FEMALE DEVILS. You definitely can’t watch this one with your parents around!

Surprisingly, this anime isn’t as superficial as you might think and has a good plot! The anime follows Issei Hyoudou, a pervert who, through a series of unfortunate (or fortunate?) events ends up enslaved to a devil named Rias Gremory.

Besides having every harem trope imaginable, this show has some really good comedic elements, and you should definitely try it if you haven’t already!
