Remake Our Life is among the lesser known anime on this list. The series is bout an aspiring game developer who wakes up ten years in the past and gets to live the college life he always wanted. He realizes this after his company goes bankrupt and his project is shelved.
At night, he falls asleep wondering what might have happened if he had chosen a different path, and wakes up ten years earlier, just before he was about to start college. This time, he chooses a different path and gets to experience the art college life he’s always dreamed of.
6Re: Zero
After leaving a convenience store, Subaru Natsuki finds himself being dropped in a fantasy world. Soon after his arrival, he was attacked by some thugs but was saved by a mysterious beauty named Satella, who is in pursuit after the one who stole her insignia.
To thank her, Subaru offers to help in her search and soon finds the whereabouts of insignia. Just after locating, they get murdered by a darker force. However, Subaru immediately reawakens to a familiar scene facing the thugs, meeting Satella while the history inexplicably repeats itself.
5Nobunaga Concerto
Nobunaga Concerto is a unique anime on time-travel. Instead of the MC going back in the past to fix his mistakes, Nobunaga Concerto sees our protagonist fall into the period of feudal Japan.

4Tokyo Revengers
Tokyo Revengers is an anime that takes the time-travel genre to task while showing us the backdrop of the underworld in Japan. Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old man whose life was full of regrets, sadness and despair, returns back to the past to set things right.
Takemichi’s main goal is to save his former girlfriend, the only person who believed in him. His venture into the underworld starts when he discovers that his girlfriend was killed by the infamous Tokyo Manji Gang. Join his journey from cowardice to bravery as he climbs to the top of the Gang that rules Tokyo.
3Tatami Galaxy
Watashi is a third-year student who is filled with the regret of living his college life by breaking up couples along with his only friend Ozu. Not able to suppress those bitter feelings anymore, he shares his feelings with a random customer at a ramen stand behind Shimogamo Shrine.
To his surprise, he soon finds himself at the beginning of his college years with a chance to erase those regrets he had for the whole time. And grabbing the opportunity by both hands, he begins a life full of love and friendship so as not to waste the chance given by fate.
2Steins;Gate
The self-proclaimed mad scientist Rintarou Okabe along with his perverted hacker friend Hashida “Daru” Itaru and airheaded Mayuri Shiina, have made their most promising invention; dubbed as the “Phone Microwave.”
It can perform the strange function of deforming bananas into piles of green gel. But soon after experiencing some mysterious happenings, they discover that the Phone Microwave can send emails to the past, altering the flow of history itself.
1Erased
Satoru Fujinuma, a 29-year-old detached manga artist, finds himself a mysterious power where he can go back in time just before a tragedy strikes and calls it “Revival” to help others in danger.
However, when accused of murdering someone close to him, he was sent back to 1988, 18 years in the past. Soon he discovers that the murder may be connected to the abduction and killing of mysterious Kayo Hinazuki, his childhood classmate, and this is the chance to make things right.
Thus his journey to uncover the mystery begins, although it is a short anime, Erased does an excellent job of taking us through timelines and engaging us with the ‘what could be’.
