Although the main storyline of My Hero Academia is already over, the story still lives on through various spin-offs like My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. The story is set in the same world as the one Deku lives in, in the same timeline, but it follows a man named Koichi, who uses his quirk to save people despite not being a hero.
In this article, we’ll reveal the most powerful characters that were introduced in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, many of whom are vigilantes, people who carry out pro-hero duties without having a license. Among these vigilantes, there are also a few pro heroes from the main story in this list.
10 Oboro Shirakumo

Some people may not remember his younger version from the anime, but Oboro Shirakumo was one of Aizawa’s friends from school, who unfortunately died during his battle with a villain during a work-study session. He didn’t receive much screen time in the main series, but he sure did get a few appearances in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes.
Shirakumo’s quirk is Cloud. It grants him the ability to generate clouds that are dense enough for him to sit on. These clouds also pack quite a lot of weight. He can use these clouds for mobility and can hide himself or objects in the cloud. Oboro carries a quarterstaff, which he handles with great precision.
9 Monika Kaniyashiki

Monika Kaniyashiki, also known as Kaniko, is a member of the police force, and is quite a cheerful young lady with immense intellect and skill. Her quirk, called Scissors, gives her the ability to cut anything between her fingers, and this ability can also be extended to her legs.
Kaniko is seen around many crab-related references, and this is quite blatant as she styles her hair in the shape of a crab as well. This may be a way of her resonating with her quirk, with which she can snip through anything. The full extent of her powers hasn’t been revealed yet, but let’s just be glad that she’s on the good side, as there’s no telling how her quirk would be misused in the wrong hands.
8 Soga Kugisaki

Soga Kugisaki is probably one of the most distinct vigilantes in the series, considering how he was really violent. However, after becoming a vigilante, he really changed for the better and started actively doing good deeds. He is one of Knuckleduster’s best disciples and has a very combat-oriented quirk.
Soga’s quirk, Spike, allows him to generate spikes from his body, with which he can attack enemies. This quirk was initially restricted to his hands and feet, but later, after getting doped by Trigger, he produced spikes all over his body, much like a porcupine. No way near as cute, though, as he’ll rip you to shreds if you get on his wrong side.
7 Shota Aizawa

Eraser Head is one of the first characters to be introduced in My Hero Academia. He is a pro-hero, but he’s stationed as the homeroom teacher for students at the UA Academy. Although he was initially portrayed as a really cold character who seemingly hated Deku, everyone, including fans, warmed up to him later as he is a really caring man who cherishes all his students.
Eraser Head has one of the most important quirks in the series. Erasure allows him to cancel the quirk of anyone he looks at, and this is an incredibly useful quirk as it ends battles in seconds unless he’s pitted against Shigaraki or All For One.
6 Iwao Oguro

Iwao Oguro, also known as Knuckleduster, is an ex-pro-hero who later became a vigilante after his quirk got stolen by All For One. He may have been powerful during his hero days, but that doesn’t mean he should be underestimated as a vigilante. The fact that he still continued saving people after losing his quirk makes him one of the most respectable characters in the series.
Knuckleduster is really skilled at hand-to-hand combat and possesses immense physical strength. All this makes up for his lack of a quirk, making him a powerful adversary and a vigilante.
5 Koichi Haimawari

Koichi Haimawari is the main character of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. Koichi is quite different from Midoriya Izuku in many ways, the main difference being the fact that Koichi isn’t quirkless. Besides that, Koichi has a way better struggle compared to Midoriya, and his development is nothing short of extraordinary.
Koichi’s quirk is Slide and Glide. It quite literally allows him to slide or glide over surfaces. Interestingly, Koichi managed to use this apparently useless quirk to actually do some hero activities. Now, he can do some incredible stunts using his quirk, allowing him to move at high speeds, produce force fields, and a lot more. He later became Captain Celebrity’s sidekick and earned quite a name for himself.
4 Rokuro Nomura

Rokuro Nomura, popularly known as Number 6, is probably one of the most liked antagonists in My Hero Academia. He is a pro-hero gone bad, and he certainly looks pretty evil too. It’s worth knowing that Number 6 turned into the villain that he is because of All For One, much like what happened to Shigaraki Tomura.
Number 6 has an immensely powerful quirk, Overclock, that was given to him by All For One. It allows him to move and think at high speed, making him faster than most pro heroes like Gran Torino. With this quirk and the other enhancements that he had done, he was a real nightmare to deal with in the series.
3 Christopher Skyline

Playboy Hero: Captain Celebrity, whose real name is Christopher Skyline, is one of the top-ranked pro heroes in America. One could say that he is really similar to All Might, considering how they have a similar build and skill set. This seems fair, though, as doesn’t every country need an All Might?
Captain Celebrity has immense strength and speed. Although it doesn’t rival that of All Might’s, it sure does put him in a class of his own among other American pro-heroes. Christopher’s quirk is Flight, which allows him to fly and use some telekinetic abilities to produce force fields that can be used as barriers. This makes him an immensely powerful yet durable unit that can sustain in battle for long hours.
2 Todoroki Enji

Everyone knows the former No.2 Pro-Hero, Endeavor, who is most popularly known and hated for being Todoroki Shoto’s father. Endeavor earned a lot of hate throughout the series for what he had done to his family. However, toward the end of the series, most people redeemed him because of the remorse he showed for what he had done to his wife and children.
Endeavor’s quirk, Hellflame, allows him to produce and control flames at will. He is a really versatile fighter and is capable of really precise flame control that allows him to fly, make flame weapons, and a lot more. He also seems to be immune to flames to an extent.
1 All Might

All Might is a character who is central to the plot of My Hero Academia and needs no introduction whatsoever. One thing that most people may not know or remember about All Might is his real name: Toshinori Yagi. This makes sense, as who other than Gran Turino ever calls All Might by his name?
All Might possess the quirk One For All, which was bestowed upon him by his master, Shimura Nana. It granted him immense physical strength. This strength transcends normal logic, as there is no other explanation for how brute strength earned him the title of the strongest hero. All Might certainly did become weaker after he sustained a huge injury, but during his prime, his power was unrivaled. Not even All For One could win against him.
