One Piece is still crowned as the most popular anime, even with all the new animes coming out. While the series is known for the sea adventure of Straw Hats pirates, battles are also an important part of their journey. 

The anime’s latest arc is building up the hype amongst the fans for some of its twists and mind-blowing fight sequences, which we have ranked here. 

10. Sentomaru Vs. Kizaru

The fight between the uncle and the nephew is what fans have been waiting for a long time. Sentomaru is the bodyguard of Dr. Vegapunk, also serving as a captain of the Marine’s Science Unit. He shares a history with the Marine Admiral, Kizaru, having known him since childhood

Before time skip, they shared a strong bond, as reflected in their combats. But everything changed once Kizaru was ordered to kill Vegapunk. Despite their old camaraderie, Kizaru didn’t spare Sentomaru and brutally defeated him.

Shanks, more commonly known as the captain of Red Hair Pirates. His team was the one responsible for Eustass Kid losing his arm. Kid is aware of Shank’s strength but decides to challenge him for revenge

When they faced each other in the battle for the Road Poneglyphs, neither was willing to back down. In the end, Shanks finished him with a final blow-The Dive Departure.

The Blackbeard Pirates have been notorious for their interest in Devil Fruit powers. They were earlier part of the Whitebeard Crew but later formed a separate group after their current leader betrayed Whitebeard and stole a devil fruit. 

Law, who had played a significant role in Wano Country Arc, now suffered an unfortunate fate after clashing with Blackbeard for Road Poneglyphs. Although Law fought with all his might, he was no match against Blackbeard’s dual devil fruit powers

Zoro had known Kaku, the CP0 agent, very well, having clashed against him in Water7 Arc. The fight between them was indeed memorable 

The hype was very much present when they clashed again in the Egghead Arc. This time, Kaku was also much stronger with his devil fruit Power but was rendered powerless against the strongest swordsman. Zoro, who was asleep, defeated him without using real powers.

One of the best fights fans had been looking forward to. Kaku and Lucci, who were at odds earlier, had formed an alliance with Zoro and Luffy to take down the Seraphims-the strongest form of humanity. 

The battle was fierce, as the Seraphims were a force to be reckoned with. While Luffy and Lucci take down S-Bear, Zoro and Kaku teamed up against the S-Hawk. Sanji was seen taking down S-Shark without any visible struggle. But the fight was soon discontinued without any definite conclusion

Sanji Vs. Queen was one of the most unforgettable battles of the One Piece series. This fight has everything the fans could’ve ever wanted-top-grade animation, well-done dynamic movements, and superb voice acting. 

Queen was one of the strongest members of Beast Pirates and Kaidou’s closest confidant. After being fearful of becoming a heartless warrior like his siblings and learning of Some’s truth, Sanji finally gathers his wits and combines his inherited genetic modification with his armament Haki to awaken ‘Ifrit Jambe’ to both defeat his enemy and his past ties.

After a hard-fought victory against Rob Lucci, one of the strongest members of CP9 during Enies Lobby Arc, Luffy, and Lucci clashed against each other again during Egghead Arc. Now, each with their awakened powers, they geared up for another showdown. 

The much-awaited rematch was in every way spectacular, with top-notch visuals and choreography, suppressing its manga counterpart. Luffy, who now had awakened the Sun God Nika and Gear 5, had finally managed to defeat him at last.

There is hardly any doubt about who the Monkey D Garp is. He is a widely known Vice Admiral, bestowed with the title ‘Hero of the Marines.’ He is the mentor of Koby, who he went to rescue after his capture by the Blackbeard Pirates. 

Since Blackbeard Pirates are notorious for their power, it was not exactly an easy fight. Garp endured against many formidable Titanic Captains, including his former protege Kuzan. Eventually, he sacrificed himself so that Koby could escape.

Sabo is one of the favorite characters from the series and the sworn brother of Luffy and Ace. So, as expected, fans were eagerly waiting to see him in action, and they were not disappointed. Sabo had infiltrated the Pangaea Castle to save the Nefertari Cobra. 

He had just learned the shocking existence of Imu before being attacked by a monstrous Imu and the Five Elders. Overwhelmed, he managed to make a narrow escape at the cost of the life of Cobra.

This was a long-anticipated fight of the One Piece, which truly suppressed fans’s expectations and broke the internet with its debut. It was also the fight where Luffy awakened his Gear 5 technique for the first time. 

The whole battle sequence was exhilarating, with both sides giving their all. Luffy, who had already suffered defeat from him, was ready to go down easily. After a series of blows, Luffy finally beat Kaido, cementing himself as one of the Four Emperors of the sea.
