The story is set in a former all girls’ military academy which is focused on the study of cryptography. The story is focused on Iraha, the sole boy in his class. Moving through the academy, he meets Kogoe from another class.

The students are supposed to crack one code after another with barely enough time to breath. But Kogoe introduces Iraha to this mystery glasses with a secret behind them. The manga sets up an academic atmosphere similar to My Hero Academia.

As the world is divided into Assiah (Humans) and Gehenna (Demons), Rin Okumura stands as the only one capable of building a connection between the both. He is a reckless teenager whose life takes a turn when he sees the demons lurking in the human world. He is soon met with the truth of him being Satan’s spawn and realizes his father’s intentions to take over the human world by turning his sons into capable vessels.  

The story follows his enrolment in an institution for hunting down demons and his journey to not let his father into this world. With clear-cut plots and mesmerizing visuals, this manga surely gives us an MHA feel.

MHA showed us how far one would go to keep one’s promises and to save lives. Kaiju No. 8 shows the same kind of determination through Kafka Hibino, who tries to get into the Defence Force against Kaiju and keep his promise to Mina Ashiro to fight alongside her. But his entire life changes when he turns into a Kaiju. 

He tries to hide his identity while still helping out his friends and the Defence force by using his Kaiju powers. The story and the constant funny visuals are quite the tear-jerker and might help our healing process.

This made him want to be the strongest, and thus, he entered Furin, a high school that had gained a reputation for being a shelter for degenerates who amassed great power and used that to protect their town. 

But as he set foot there, he realized that there were much more powerful people and that he would have to work harder to find his way to the top. The stunning fights and the very power dynamics involved in this manga set it apart from the rest.

After his father’s death, Denji was left in between heaps of debts. In the midst of loneliness and survival, he accompanies Pochita, a devil dog. He works as a devil hunter for a yakuza. Life goes comparatively better until he gets killed by a devil. 

But Pochita sacrifices himself for Denji and his dreams and hence starts the story of the Chainsaw Man. The fight scenes and team efforts remind us of My Hero Academia.

The manga is set in the feudal Japan, between the Kamakura and Muromachi periods. Hojo Tokiyuki’s family falls down in standing when Kamakura Shogunate is overthrown by Ashikaga Takauji. Following this event, Tokiyuki flees far away to survive.

But he doesn’t plan on staying silent because he is planning a revenge ahead. The manga provides an amalgam of history, action and a determined protagonist.

Who would have thought that the chubby neighborhood store guy was actually a former legendary hitman? Taro Sakomoto was the ultimate assassin. He was feared and admired, but he fell in love, and life moved on, turning him into a family man. 

But the strength is still there in him it seems. He teams up with his comrades to eliminate any threat to his peaceful life with his family. The story joins him as he achieves his goal.

Everything was comparatively peaceful for Chihiro Rokukiro when he lived with his father. He was the son of a renowned blacksmith who forged six enchanted swords. But his father was assassinated and hence starts his journey.

He sets out to revenge against a deadly gang of sorcerers who might be behind his father’s death. He is ready to avenge with the help of the seventh enchanted sword forged by his father.

The story follows Momo Ayase who believes in ghosts and not aliens, and Ken Takakura who believes in aliens and not ghosts. As they have different opinions they bet to visit two places. But turns out that might change and mark the beginning of a chapter.

Ayase gets abducted by aliens whereas Takakura gets possessed by a spirit. The aliens accidentally block Ayase’s chakra causing the rise of psychic abilities in her. The story moves forward as they come together to help each other from the newly found problems around them.
