With the Jujutsu Kaisen series coming to a close within the next three chapters, fans must have mixed emotions, as on one hand, their favourite manga will end, and on the other hand, they can not wait for the manga’s conclusion. A time like this is perfect for reminiscing the best scenes from the manga.
The anime that left off at the Shibuya Incident arc was nothing short of extraordinary due to its amazing plot, fight scenes and animation. Further arcs of Jujutsu Kaisen show even more promise than the previous ones. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the top scenes of Jujutsu Kaisen that are yet to be animated.
10 Yuji’s Death
Yuta was appointed as Yuji’s executioner by the higher-ups. His immense cursed energy and superior combat skills ended up overwhelming Yuji. The special grade sorcerer left Choso, who was on Yuji’s side for Naoya to deal with and went after Yuji alone. As Yuji flees to avoid fighting the overpowered sorcerer, he is backed into a corner and forced to fight.
Towards the end of the heated battle, Yuta ended up piercing Yuji’s chest with his sword, killing him and ending up victorious. But only after that does he reveal his true intentions. As he was under a binding vow, he had to ensure Yuji’s death. However, the moment he pierced Yuji’s heart, he used reversed cursed technique to heal his heart, fulfilling his vow as well as bringing Itadori Yuji back to life.
9 Okkostu Yuta vs Kurourushi
Kurourushi is a special-grade cockroach spirit with an unending appetite and a culling game participant. When Yuta interrupted its meal, Kurourushi’s instincts took over, and it was overcome with a strong desire to consume Yuta. But little did it know it would get decimated by Yuta’s immense cursed energy output and combat abilities.
Fighting a special-grade curse was challenging, but Yuta managed to use his wits against the feral cockroach curse by predicting its movements and thinking fast, even though he had multiple wounds and bruises all over his body. In the end, when Yuta was immobilised, he still managed to land a fatal blow by biting Kurourushi’s head and channelling positive energy from his brain directly into the Cursed Spirit, ending its life.
8 Maki Zenin vs Naoya Zenin
Naoya Zenin is the head of The Hei, making him Maki Zenin’s cousin and a special grade 1 sorcerer, as he can reach supersonic speeds and overwhelm his opponents. Although Naoya knew that Maki’s power was comparable to Toji’s, he refused to acknowledge her combat prowess.
In the end, Maki won when she landed a surprise attack on Naoya by switching her Shiranui-Gata stance and facing her opponent head-on, delivering a fatal blow to his head and bashing him against the floor. Ultimately, Naoya’s superiority complex and overconfidence led to his demise.
7 Yuki and Choso vs Kenjaku
In the Culling game arc, Tsukumo Yuki and Choso volunteered to protect Tengen from Kenjaku, as he could undo both seals on The Tombs of The Star and absorb Tengen using Cursed Spirit Manipulation. As this fight dragged on, Yuki sacrificed her life in a last-ditch effort to stop Kenjaku from getting what he wanted.
This long battle ended in Kenjaku’s favour as he managed to defeat Choso and Yuki, a special-grade sorcerer, using all the curses he had accumulated over time, and he sealed his victory by absorbing Tengen, putting everyone else at a major disadvantage.
6 Kinji Hakari vs Hajime Kashimo
Hajime Kashimo, an incarnation of a 400-year-old Jujutsu Sorcerer, is a powerful opponent in the culling games and wields the power of electricity, earning him the nickname The God of Lightning. He managed to overpower Hakari, who runs an illegal Fight Club, using his overwhelming electrical abilities and hand-to-hand combat abilities during the initial stages of the fight.
But towards the end, Hakari had the upper hand when he used his Domain Expansion against his opponent and turned the tides in his favour using his intellect as Hajime underestimated Hakari. Kashimo, admitting defeat, joined Hakari and agreed to use his Domain Expansion when fighting Sukuna.
5 Sukuna Destroying Megumi’s Will
Sukuna fought Yorozu with the sole purpose of defeating her and breaking Megumi’s will thus allowing Sukuna to absorb Megumi’s soul completely. Sukuna did not use his domain expansion during the entire fight even once. He was focused on defeating Yorozu by using the Ten Shadows Technique as a form of psychological warfare against Megumi.
Sukuna defeated Yorozu in the end by adapting to her techniques using Mahoraga. Megumi’s will was crushed as Yorozu perished, and his sister Tsumiki, a vessel for Yorozu, met the same fate.
4 Maki Zenin against the Zenin clan
As a member of the power-hungry Zenin clan, which is governed by a system of hierarchies, Maki was shunned despite having a lot of potential. When both she and her twin sister, Mai, were backed into a corner, Mai sacrificed herself, turning herself into a special-grade weapon so that Maki could escape.
Maki then goes on a slaughtering spree, killing every member of the Zenin clan as she acquires superhuman powers. She lost little connection to her clan when her Mai died.
3 Gojo’s Return
While fighting Sukuna, Yuta used up all the tricks he had up his sleeve. Still, when Sukuna defeated Yuta, his victory was short-lived as Yuta had a backup plan all along, and little did he know that Yuta already copied Kenjaku’s cursed technique.
Yuta’s master plan was to transplant his brain into Gojo’s body, using his Six Eyes Technique and infinity. This puts Sukuna in quite a predicament as he is already at a disadvantage because of being continuously engaged in combat.
2 Nobara’s Return
After being brutally defeated by Mahito’s Idle Transfiguration, fans were dismayed as her chances of surviving were very low. After being absent for most of the Culling Game arc, she finally returned after a full recovery.
Her cursed technique was key to immobilising Sukuna even for a fraction of a second, as that was enough for Itadori Yuji to land a blow. Her comeback was perhaps one of the most anticipated ones by far.
1 Gojo’s Defeat
The fight will get heated when the strongest sorcerer in history and the strongest sorcerer in the modern world face off as the two powerful giants face off in their battle of domains. When both Gojo and Sukuna unleash their domains simultaneously, it all boils down to tactics and endurance.
However, Sukuna cuts Gojo in half with a slash that cuts the world, resulting in Gojo’s demise. Sukuna was covered in heavy wounds and burned all over as the battle was so rapid and powerful.
