Jujutsu Kaisen is brimming with amazing, strong characters and plot lines. The amazingness comes with the cost of the numerous deaths too. The recent increase in the number of deaths of our favorite characters in Jujutsu Kaisen seems to be concerning.
But aside from all that, Akutami sensei and Mappa did a great job. There are numerous wonderful fight scenes that leave you in a state of awe. So here are the Top 10 battle scenes from Jujutsu Kaisen that give you chills of excitement.
10 Itadori Yuji and Kento Nanami vs Mahito
This battle happened in Season 1,when Yuji was still learning. Nanami arrived just in time when Mahito was about to hit Yuji. Nanami and Yuji teamed up and fought Mahito-Yuji with his specialty in hand-to-hand combat and Nanami with his sword.
Mahito created small cursed forms and transformed himself as he fought. Later, Mahito trapped Nanami in his Domain Expansion, which Yuji broke from outside. Mahito struck Yuji, and the King of Curses warned him. Yuji landed a Divergent fist, but Mahito escaped through the sewers.
9 Gojo Satoru vs Jogo
This was one of the best battles we saw in the first season. Gojo, being his usual strong self, fought Jogo like it was not a big deal. Gojo used his Infinity and Red, which threw Jogo across the forest.
Gojo appeared with Yuji after a moment to provide Yuji with a lesson as his sensei. Jogo trapped them inside his Domain Expansion and Gojo used this opportunity to explain the strengths and weaknesses of Domain Expansion.
This was where Gojo revealed his eyes and launched his Domain Expansion-Infinite Void. Gojo turned the entire battle into a lesson for Yuji.
8 Itadori Yuji and Aoi Todo vs Hanami
The combo of Yuji and Todo is always perfect. Together in a battle, these pair of best friends are what never fails to captivate the fans. The battle with Hanami and the one with Mahito in the Shibuya Incident arc are both mesmerizing.
Yuji and Todo together showed what group work means in this battle. After Hanami’s battle with Maki and Megumi, these best friends take their place. Yuji perfected his Black flash and Todo used his technique Boogie Woogie to swatch places with Yuji as they indulge in their combo combat. The fight ended with Gojo Satoru taking over the fight, launching his Hollow Technique: Purple.
7 Mechamaru vs Mahito
After the deal with Pseudo-Geto and Mahito, Kokichi Muta fought Mahito. Being a semi-grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer, Muta used his Ultimate Mechamaru-Mode: Absolute against Mahito.
His determination and skill impressed Pseudo-Geto. Mahito had to launch his Domain Expansion- Self Embodiment of Perfection to defeat Kokichi. Mahito found his way into the cockpit and finally defeated Mechamaru. Mahito also claimed to be impressed by Kokichi as he tried to neutralize his Domain Expansion.
6 Domain Expansion- Horizon of the Captivating Skandha
This battle happened in the Shibuya Incident arc after Toji was brought back. Toji entered the Curse Spirit Dagon’s Domain through the gap Megumi created. After Maki, Megumi, Naobito, and Nanami fought Dagon, they planned to escape, but Toji appeared.
The young sorcerers were amazed to see Toji’s fight as he had no cursed energy. But he defeated Dagon all alone just using Maki’s cursed tool, Playful Cloud. He sharpened the tool to edges and landed multiple hits on Dagon hence defeating him. Toji was a master of combat with great speed, which worked well together in his fight.
5 Yuta vs Geto
This battle happened in Jujutsu Kaisen 0. At the end of the movie, Geto tried to invade Jujutsu High to steal Rika from Yuta. Yuta was angered as Geto tried to harm his friends. We see the real power of Yuta and Rika in this battle.
The battle provided us with intense Combat and Cursed Techniques. Yuta punches Geto and empowers Rika with a kiss. He defeated Geto with Rika’s powerful technique, which created an explosion. It ended with Geto being on the verge of death, whom Gojo visited. This was the real Geto’s last fight.
4 The King of Curses vs Jogo
This is a remarkable battle from the Shibuya Incident arc. It happened after Jogo agreed to Sukuna’s offer. Sukuna offered to agree with Jogo, if Jogo managed to hit him once. This scene is praised for its stunning animation.
The battle was intense, and it left Sukuna impressed. Jogo launched a powerful technique, Maximum Meteor, but Sukuna escaped it. Later, Jogo activated his Domain Expansion. Even though he was hesitant, as Gojo Satoru had easily defeated it, Sukuna encouraged him. The battle ended with Sukuna defeating Jogo but with a praise.
3 Gojo Satoru enters Shibuya
This battle sent the fans into a state of frenzy. It showed the extent of Gojo’s power. Gojo Satoru literally crushed the cursed spirits on walls with his Limitless. He also activated his Domain Expansion-Infinite Void and killed the transfigured humans within seconds.
The animation was stunning as it captivated Gojo’s Techniques. Gojo fought Jogo, Hanami, and Choso along with handling the transfigured Humans. He was trapped in the Prison Realm later by Pseudo-Geto. The moment also showed the depth of Satoru and Suguru’s friendship.
2 Sukuna vs Mahoraga
After Shigemo surprise attacked Megumi in the Shibuya Incident arc, he summoned Mahoraga. He knew he couldn’t control Mahoraga yet, but he had no choice. After sensing Mahoraga, Sukuna joined them and protected Megumi from his own Shikigami.
This battle showed Sukuna’s inhuman powers. Sukuna burned down the entirety of Shibuya after activating his Domain Expansion-Malevolent Shrine. Along with the stunning fight, this scene was famous for its amazing animation. Sukuna defeated Mahoraga and killed the humans who were saved. He left the devastated sight for Itadori Yuji.
1 Mission Escort Riko Amanai to Tengen Sama
The Hidden Inventory arc is something we all hold close to our hearts, from the friendship of Gojo and Geto to the final battle between Gojo, Geto vs Toji. This battle showed us the true power of the three. The awakening of Gojo as the strongest and him learning to use his powers was a true treat for our eyes.
Especially the second round of Gojo vs Toji was something out of the world. The introduction of the Reverse Curse Technique along with Red, Blue followed by Hollow Technique-Purple happened here. Toji was hit by Hollow Technique-Purple, leaving him with a fatal injury, which led to his demise. Toji told Gojo about the situation with Megumi and the Zenin clan, giving Gojo the final do in the matter.
The fight between Geto and Toji happened after Toji shot Riko. Even though Geto fought Toji with his Curse Spirit Manipulation, Toji got away. The immense fight scenes with Mappa’s complementing animation were amazing.
