Toonami’s New Makeover Takes Fans By Surprise

Toonami block originally launched in 1997 and ran up until 2008. In 2012, it got relaunched as part of Cartoon Network’s nightly Adult Swim Block. Along the way, many different versions of TOM have served as host and the latest one, TOM 6 made its debut a few days back.

Toonami is getting a 2020 colour to revamp with a new colour scheme which consists of Black, Neon Blue and Pink along with a new ship.

This is a complete shift from its earlier plain Greenish font. New TOM model and now this, Toonami is acting all Santa with the bells of the sledge getting louder.

This complete visual makeover along with other updates is making the festive season getting better for the Toonami fans. While these might be a lot of good surprise changes already, it will be hard telling what you might expect from Toonami next.

Toonami is a television programming block that primarily consists of Japanese anime and American action animation. It was created by Sean Akins and Jason DeMarco and produced by Williams Street, a division of Warner Bros. Entertainment. The name Toonami is made up of two words “cartoon” and “tsunami”. It currently airs every Saturday from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. ET. Toonami initially aimed at children aged 6-12 from 1997 to 2008 during day time. The host of Toonami is a robot named T.O.M., short for Toonami Operations Module.
