The newlywed couple Nasa and Tsukasa will return for more adventures in their married life. Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You is a one-of-a-kind love story that puts commitment at the front.
While staying true to its slice-of-life romantic comedy genre, Tonikawa shows the troubles and dynamics of a married couple with more depth.
On Tuesday, the official website for Tonikawa confirmed that the second season of the anime will premiere sometime in April. Crunchyroll will stream the series worldwide. The staff also revealed a new visual along with the theme song artists for the upcoming season.
Pretty similar to the previous visual, this visual also shows Nasa and Tsukasa with their hands touching. Tsukasa is wearing a veil that complements her otherwise casual white outfit. In the background, Chitose, her maids, and others are looking at the couple.
The opening song for the second season will be “Setsuna no Chikai” (Oath of a Moment) featuring Tsukasa Yuzaki. Neko Hacker has composed the song and Akari Kito will perform it. Kito will also perform the ending song “Yoru no Katasumi” (In the corner of the Night).
The main cast and staff are returning for the second season of Tonikawa. Seven Arcs is producing the series with Hiroshi Ikehata directing the series and Kazuho Hyodo handling the scripts. The characters are designed by Masakatsu Sasaki. Endo also returns as the music composer.
About TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You
TONIKAWA (Tonikaku Kawaii) is the anime adaptation of the Fly Me To The Moon manga by Kenjiro Hata. It was first launched on February 14, 2018, in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. As of December 2022, twenty-two volumes have been published.
It is about Nasa, who meets a cute girl named Tsukasa on the day of his high school entrance exams. Nasa falls head over heels for her and confesses to her, but Tsukasa says that she will date him only after they get married.
She appears in Nasa’s life on his 18th birthday to get married and thus begins their sweet married life.
