Tsukasa and Nasa wrap up the final days of the honeymoon in episode 6 of Tonikawa season 2, titled “Underneath the Moon.”

As they approach their last night at the inn, the final destination of getting in the open-air bath together comes close, and neither can muster up the courage to invite the other. Eventually, Nasa brings up the question somehow.

After a trip to the hot springs and some souvenir shopping, they take multiple photos of the trip to treasure these memories forever after. Bringing the tour to a conclusion, both lie happy with all their experiences in the last few days.

As the tour came to an end, Nasa and Tsukasa grew even closer together and reached a new level in their marriage. They even got some advice from Tokiko regarding their marriage and will likely see it being applied in the future.

The next episode will be about returning home and the after-effects of the trip and thanking Kaname for the tickets. Their next venture as a married couple will probably start immediately and will likely be in the safety of their home.

Tsukasa shows off her new yukata, making Nasa completely red with love. They take a tour through the hot spring area, and Tsukasa makes it her responsibility to explain everything since Nasa has been entirely clueless the entire time.

He asks her about Tokiko, and she says she’s been her guardian as a child but is incredibly clingy. They run into a ramen place and decide to go and try some steak sizzlers and find them suitable. 

Kusatsu proves its value as they see the riverbed where the hot spring water flows in, and as Tsukasa admires it, Nasa is freaking out about the possibility of getting in the same bath as her back in the room, even though they’re married.

Back at the inn, they have an extremely fancy dinner with multiple options, reminding them to thank Kaname again. While relaxing after dinner, both know it’s bath time, but neither can bring the courage up to ask to take a bath together, and eventually, Nasa somehow does it.

She tells him to get in first, and he immediately complies as he sits in the bath as red as a tomato. Tsukasa enters the tub with him as they sit in it awkwardly, and they express their affection in direct words, just like Tokiko advised them both.

They begin playfully splashing around in the bath, making the awkward situation extremely fun, and even the following day, Nasa still cannot get over the previous night. He runs to call for breakfast, and they get yet another fancy treatment. 

Tokiko comes to see them off on their last day, and they decide to go souvenir shopping before heading back home by train. Nasa recalls the entire trip on the ride back home and is elated with joy at all the happy memories he has made throughout.

TONIKAWA (Tonikaku Kawaii) is the anime adaptation of the Fly Me To The Moon manga by Kenjiro Hata. It was first launched on February 14, 2018, in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. As of December 2022, twenty-two volumes have been published.

It is about Nasa, who meets a cute girl named Tsukasa on the day of his high school entrance exams. Nasa falls head over heels for her and confesses to her, but Tsukasa says that she will date him only after they get married.

She appears in Nasa’s life on his 18th birthday to get married and thus begins their sweet married life.
