Nasa and Tsukasa get a surprise visitor during their meal in episode 9 of Tonikawa season 2, titled “A Summer Day.”

Going through everyday life with Tsukasa, Nasa finds that she is extremely bad at technology and even gets a little embarrassed about it. It is understandable since Tokiko had helped her with it throughout her life before marriage.

While they relax and enjoy a meal after some exercise in the morning, Tokiko pops in out of nowhere and joins them while talking about camping. Tsukasa immediately gets annoyed at her interruption, but Nasa is entirely encapsulated by the idea.

1. Episode 10 Speculation

Tokiko has invited them on a camping trip and will likely use it as a step to get Tsukasa and Nasa’s marriage closer together as well as healthier. There was also a flashback to when she was a child, while Tsukasa remained the same age which furthers the fact that Tsukasa is, in fact, immortal.

However, whether Nasa knows it or not is still unclear. Perhaps Tokiko will use this trip to get Tsukasa to tell him; another possibility is that he already knows but doesn’t care.

Tsukasa finds the DVR remote to be broken, but Nasa replaces the battery to find it perfectly normal, and Tsukasa immediately gets defensive and embarrassed. However, this isn’t the first time, and she has always been constantly wrong with technology in general.

Tokiko had handled all of the tech problems before Nasa, and though she may have yet to look at it, she was highly proficient with all sorts of STEM subjects. Nasa talks about the whole situation later with Kaname and goes on a rant about his wife before being interrupted by Yanagi.

His old homeroom teacher enters as a guest at their house, inviting them to their wedding. She asks him if he had been worried before the marriage since she had encountered some weird behavior from the fiancé on their last date concerning an extreme amount of ginger that he added to his ramen beef bowl, knowing it was terrible.

Yanagi had tried it too and found it to taste horrible, just like expected, but she started craving it after two days and finally figured out why Taniguchi acted that way. When Nasa weighed himself the following day, he found that his weight had increased a lot in the last few days.

Tsukasa also notices the sudden increase and figures that he has given him too many seconds. He goes on a ten-kilometer run daily to lose weight and immediately starts panting for air, and Tsukasa decides to join him on the run.

Tokiko appears out of nowhere and joins them on the meal, and Tsukasa immediately begins freaking out. She tells them all that they should go camping together and starts talking about it in a dream-like way that immediately interests Nasa. 

She starts guilt-tripping her with her age and even leaves a gift before leaving, announcing that they will be going camping next week.

TONIKAWA (Tonikaku Kawaii) is the anime adaptation of the Fly Me To The Moon manga by Kenjiro Hata. It was first launched on February 14, 2018, in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. As of December 2022, twenty-two volumes have been published.

It is about Nasa, who meets a cute girl named Tsukasa on the day of his high school entrance exams. Nasa falls head over heels for her and confesses to her, but Tsukasa says that she will date him only after they get married.

She appears in Nasa’s life on his 18th birthday to get married and thus begins their sweet married life.
