Misuzu enjoys her performance after she reunites with Tomo during the play. Junichiro and Tomo dance together next to the bonfire after the festival, and he hints that he likes her. Tomo, on the other hand, flees, and over the next few days, she hangs out with him as usual but becomes agitated when Junichiro brings up the subject again.
Junichiro confesses his feelings for Tomo to Kosuke at school, who encourages him to do so. Before doing so, he summons Misuzu to apologize for loving Tomo before dating Misuzu, but she cheers him on, saying she never cared about their previous relationship. Misuzu asks him if she was his first love, but it is revealed it was actually Tomo’s mother.
He summons Tomo to the roof, where he expresses his feelings again, prompting Tomo to punch him for being unaware of the effort she has made for him. However, when Junichiro maintains his balance even after the punch, she flees again, embarrassed. She approaches Misuzu and Carol for assistance, and Misuzu encourages her to pursue Junichiro, knowing their feelings are mutual.
She does so, and on her way home, she finally accepts his confession and tells him she feels the same way on the temple staircase. He assures her they will remain as close as before, much to their delight.

The plot revolves around a tomboy girl, Tomo Aizawa. She has a crush on her childhood friend, Jun, but he only ever thinks of her as a guy. She tries to show her love but it ends up in Jun completely misinterpreting her hints.
