Takemichi faces off against Tenjiku in episode 1 of Tokyo Revengers Tenjiku-Hen titled “The Longest Day.”

While wandering around the streets, each member of Toman gets ambushed by big groups of the Tenjiku gang. They outnumber and beat them to send a message and then move on to the next target. Takemichi and Akkun are also attacked, but the twins save them.

After they clear out the gang, they decide to counter-attack immediately and find out the location of their hideout.

No episode 2 of Tokyo Revengers Tenjiku-Hen is not on a break this week. The episode will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Episode 2 Speculation

Takemichi has found an old friend in Tenjiku, but they are currently on opposite sides since their gangs are at odds. Mikey has also already met with the leader of Tenjiku, although he doesn’t know it yet.

The focus of the next episode will likely be Takemichi trying to find the traitor within Toman. If they make any plans before actually discovering the traitor, it could backfire on them very quickly. Since the hideout was prepared for their counter-attack, the traitor is probably the other Nahoya twin or someone within their group.

3. Recap of Episode 1

Takemichi and his friends lie before Kisaki, the new General Staff Officer of Tenjiku. He announces that he will make his own Toman, and Mikey will be forced to accept him once he does. One of the other members brings out Chifuyu’s unconscious body and throws it out to him.

The rest of the members surround Takemichi, and Akkun tells them to run while he distracts them. The Meguro twins arrive at the perfect time and scare them off. He points to Takuya’s injured body and tells Takemichi to take him to the hospital.

They immediately launch plans for a counter-attack in Yokohama, and Takemichi is dragged along. Mochizuki has been winning against the twins for a long time, but now they have a chance at victory. They spot some Tenjiku members on the way and jump them.

Takemichi now has a new theory since his plans have consistently failed. Kisaki may also have a time travel ability, which he uses to counter the changes that Takemichi made in the past. Chifuyu agrees with his theory but says they must focus on Tenjiku now.

The twins find out the hideout’s location and prepare for a raid. Meanwhile, Mitsuya gets beaten by the Haitani brothers as they continue ambushing Toman individually. At the shelter, Kakucho strolls up and says he can handle them all by himself.

Nahoya steps up as the first one to fight him, but Kakucho wants to face Takemichi instead since he’s the captain of the First Division. He gets into a fighting stance, and everybody excites Takemichi for the battle. He runs straight at him and knocks him down with a single punch.

After seeing him on the floor, he runs at Kakucho, remembering him from second grade. They used to play fight together all the time as a kid, and they started bantering around. Kakucho says that they must be enemies since he’s in Tenjiku now. However, before he leaves, he warns them of a traitor.

Tokyo Revengers is a manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on March 1, 2017, and ended its run in November 2022. It is compiled into 31 tankobon volumes.

The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who learned that Tokyo Manji Gang had killed his only ex-girlfriend from back in middle school. After learning about the incident, Takemichi was pushed from the railway platform.

Landing on the tracks, he closed his eyes, accepting his death, but when he opened his eyes, he had time-leaped 12 years into the past.
