Episode 9 of ‘Tokyo Revengers Tenjiku-Hen’ is titled “The Blue Ogre.” In this episode, the true strength of Souya is finally revealed.

After the Haitani brothers break Souya’s leg, they group up on Hakkai and start beating him up. The brothers continue bashing his head in until Souya begins crying. Although Tenjiku laughs at Souya’s tears, they don’t realize the demon they’ve unleashed.

In minutes, Souya takes down three of the Big Four and completely turns the tide of the battle. Toman gathers together again with newfound hope for victory.

2. Episode 10 Speculation

With Souya’s defeat, only Takemichi has hope of winning this battle now. Even after being beaten up by Kakucho, Takemichi can see the lack of determination in his eyes. However, Kisaki is not the same as Kakucho and will kill if he wants to.

Kisaki will probably be interrupted before he can kill Takemichi. Either Izana or Kakucho will realize that Kisaki is serious and tell him to stop. Besides that, Toman may also receive reinforcements soon since this battle is unwinnable.

The Haitani brothers easily defeat Souya and Hakkai, breaking Souya’s leg first. After that, the brothers tackle Hakkai and start beating his head with a baton. For the first time in years, Souya begins crying—meanwhile, Smiley talks to Mitsuya about how Souya turns into a demon once he starts crying.

Even with a broken leg, Souya walks toward the twins. Rindo walks toward Souya and gets knocked out in a single punch. Ran also gets caught off guard, and Souya jumps him from behind. Mucho steps up after seeing what happened but gets thrown by Souya.

Takemichi realizes that Souya just took out half of Tenjiku’s strongest by himself. Toman regroups and faces Izana as their next and final enemy. However, Mucho gets back up with a knife, determined to stop Toman from taking over. As Mucho charges toward Takemichi, Kakucho stops him with a punch to the stomach,

However, Kakucho is still loyal to Izana even if the other Big Four have fallen. Kakucho matches Souya’s speed and even surpasses it. After knocking Souya down, Kakucho goes to Takemichi and starts beating him up. Koko tells Inui to watch as the future of Black Dragon gets pummeled.

Takemichi asks Kakucho how he can even consider Izana a hero. Izana was the one who made two gangs fight and even killed his sister. However, Kakucho hasn’t been fazed by that at all. Kakucho starts attacking Takemichi again, but Chifuyu interferes.

Chifuyu tries to tell Takemichi that the fight is already over; it’s Toman’s loss. However, Takemichi refuses to give up and says that Kakucho will never win this battle. Takemichi can see the lack of confidence in his eyes. Kisaki steps up and points a gun at Takemichi’s head, asking if he’s sure about this.

Tokyo Revengers is a manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on March 1, 2017, and ended its run in November 2022. It is compiled into 31 tankobon volumes.

The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who learned that Tokyo Manji Gang had killed his only ex-girlfriend from back in middle school. After learning about the incident, Takemichi was pushed from the railway platform.
