The majority of the anime community has loved seasons 1 and 2 of Tokyo Revengers. In the finale of season 2, Takemichi returns to the past and starts working hard to get stronger after witnessing Mikey die in his arms.
Tokyo Revengers’ season 2 ended with the revelation that Kisaki has joined the ‘Yokohama Tenjiku,’ and the gang is out to hunt the members of the ‘Tokyo Manji Gang’. The highly anticipated last episode had elements that foreshadowed the show’s eventual finale.
Takemichi decided not to time travel again until he and Mikey were in control of Toman, which left fans wanting more.
On Sunday, the official website for the Tokyo Revengers anime revealed that the Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku-hen (Tenjiku Arc) anime will air on MBS, TV Tokyo, and AT-X in October. The website also released the first promo video for the next season and more cast members.
The Tenjiku arc introduces Tenjiku, a criminal organization commanded by Izana Kurokawa and Tetta Kisaki. Their sole objective is to seek revenge on the Tokyo Manji Gang (Toman), controlled by Mikey.
Tokyo Revengers season 3 will cover more than half of the series’ storyline after the Tenjiku arc, leaving only the Bonten, Three Deities, and Kanto Manji arcs.
The staff from the previous two seasons will return for the upcoming Tokyo Revengers season 3. As for the previous and new cast members that were revealed in the above promo, they are as follows:
