Takemichi wanders into enemy territory in episode 2 of Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown, titled “Gotta Go.”

A friendly battle at the arcade and bowling alley quickly turns dark as they run into a familiar gang, and not in a good way. Black Dragon makes their stance against Toman very clear in their actions against its captain, Takemichi.

As Hakkai Shiba introduces his brother, the leader of the Black Dragon, he is immediately commanded with a difficult choice. Moreover, he is forced to make the decision in front of Hina and his sister.

Episode 3 Speculation

Hakkai Shiba will have to choose between beating Takemichi up or possibly getting beaten up himself, and he will likely hesitate in his decision. After the friendship he showed Takemichi until now, he will probably not beat up Takemichi.

Moreover, there will have to be some interception from anyone to save Takemichi from this situation; maybe somebody from Toman itself will arrive. Since it is Black Dragon territory, they’re on. However, it is also quite unlikely for anyone to be in the near vicinity.

Recap of Episode 2

Takemichi returns one more time to the past and finds himself at the bowling alley with Hina, where he finds Hakkai Shiba, who calls him captain, and she recalls that he was a member of the Black Dragon.

But he also reveals that he is vice-captain of the second division in Toman, which confuses the matter even more; we get a flashback to present-day Takemichi recalling what Kazutora told him about Hakkai.

He bowls another strike, and Takemichi matches him for more strikes as they both go even in battle at the lane. Meanwhile, the two girls exchange snacks and making small conversations.

Takemichi competes with him in more games as he falls short in them all; being either weaker or slower than him, he is outclassed. Hakkai decides that they are both bros from now on.

They talk about Mitsuya and how Shiba considers him an older brother and even has him as his lock screen. Takemichi compares the difference between present-day Shiba and the one before his eyes.

They encounter another motorcycle gang and deduce that this group right in front of them is Black Dragon. They recognize Takemichi and immediately get aggressive and threaten to kill him for trespassing on their turf.

Hakkai intercepts and tells them to lay off his friend, even knocking out one of the members. He reveals that his brother is the leader of Black Dragon; more gang members get aggressive and threaten to kill him over remarks made against their boss.

Finally, the eldest sibling reaches the scene with a powerful kick straight into Takemichi’s neck and knocks his breath out. The gang explains the situation to the boss, and he laughs and kicks our protagonist into the ground.

Tokyo Revengers is a manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on March 1, 2017, and ended its run in November 2022. It is compiled into 31 tankobon volumes.

The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who learned that Tokyo Manji Gang had killed his only ex-girlfriend from back in middle school. After learning about the incident, Takemichi was pushed from the railway platform.

Landing on the tracks, he closed his eyes, accepting his death, but when he opened his eyes, he had time-leaped 12 years into the past.
