Hina and Takemichi finally patch things up in episode 10 of Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown, titled “The light of my life.”

Mikey’s entrance into the church was no coincidence but a domino effect started by Hina’s worry for Takemichi, leading to Draken and Mikey’s search for him. After the fight, Hina finally managed to face Takemichi head-on and get everything out in the open.

Taiju leaves the house with a parting message for Yuzuha and Hakkai, which helps them understand their older brother a little bit more, even if they can’t forgive what he’s done. With all the Toman members and friends together, the New Year’s celebration goes better than they could ever imagine.

The next episode will likely start a new arc now that the Black Dragon business has finally ended. Hina and Takemichi have patched things up, with Hina’s parents also agreeing to give him a try regardless of his work.

We may glimpse Kisaki Tetta after his betrayal since his plans did not come to fruition, but Takemichi knows what they’ve done and will do in the future.

3. Recap of Episode 10:

Hina stands across Takemichi as he tries to find words to say after all he did that night, but all she asks is if he got into yet another fight. Hina confronts her father about what he said to Takemichi and defends him to the point where she bursts into tears and storms off.

She prays at the shrine on Christmas night and runs into Emma, who she talks to about her entire situation. She calls Draken and asks about Takemichi’s current location and insists that he find him immediately.

Upon finally meeting Hina again, Takemichi immediately bursts into an outburst of tears, reliving all the pasts when he lost Hina and couldn’t even bear it. She accepts his apology, and they finally get back together. Mikey invites him to go on a ride together.

They talk about Mikey’s family and his current situation living with his grandpa and Emma. He also talks about his brother, someone who Takemichi reminds him of, someone who can inspire and lead though he is physically weak and emotional.

Mikey praises Takemichi for being this tough, not even backing down in the face of Black Dragon. Mitsuya and Draken recall their past and how they met while defacing a wall, and even a visit to where Draken lives, where he ultimately sees through Mitsuya and gets him back to reality.

Takemichi’s date with Hina is interrupted by Mitsuya and his twin sisters visiting with Hakkai and Yuzuha now that everyone has recovered from the church fight. The twins swiftly steal away Hina, and Mitsuya spends some time with Takemichi instead.

Taiju also leaves the house leaving Yuzuha and Hakkai for themselves; he also confesses to her that all he wanted was for Hakkai to be strong; even though he couldn’t change him, Takemichi managed to do what he couldn’t in one night.

They also run into Mikey, Draken, and Emma, as well as the other captains of Toman, and celebrate a beautiful New Year together.

Tokyo Revengers is a manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on March 1, 2017, and ended its run in November 2022. It is compiled into 31 tankobon volumes.

The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who learned that Tokyo Manji Gang had killed his only ex-girlfriend from back in middle school. After learning about the incident, Takemichi was pushed from the railway platform.
