3. Episode 3 Recap

In Episode 3, Takemichi bravely faces the mighty Kiyamosa in a duel. Despite the immense difference in strength, Takemichi somehow manages to hold his ground.

He bluntly says that he won’t give up until he dies. Things get more intense when Kiyamosa takes his words serious and starts beating him into a pulp.

Just when everyone thought that it’s all over for Takemichi, Ryuuguuji Ken and Sano Manjiro’s presence attracts everyone’s attention. After all, they are the Vice-president and President of the Tokyo Manjiro gang.

They stop the ongoing fight and beat Kiyamosa in front of everyone. Surprisingly, Mickey (Sano Manjiro’s nickname) takes a liking over Takemichi and befriends him.

Thanks to this intrusion, Atsushi would have stabbed Kiyamosa if the fight went any longer. The boys are finally free from the fight club’s slavery.

The next day, Mickey and Ken break into Takemichi’s classroom to take him out for a walk (since they are already friends). This causes total chaos in the school.

Hinata misreads the situation as an attempt to take Takemichi somewhere forcefully. She steps up for her boyfriend and slaps Micky on his face.

Ken holds Hinata’s hand while she tries to take Takemichi away. That’s when Takemichi says, “I ain’t gonna give up on her ever again.”

Mickey gets impressed by Takemichi’s guts. He likes the way Takemichi can stand strong before anyone, no matter how strong his opponent is.

Mickey says that Takemichi reminds him of his brother, who used to be exactly like him. He even offers Takemichi to join the Tokyo Manji gang.

While coming back home, he gets a split-second glimpse of Kisaki Tetta, the gangster he is searching for. However, everything happens so fast that he fails to recognise him.
