Tokyo Revengers anime is returning with its second season, Christmas Showdown Arc, next week. We are already hyped to know what happens after Kisaki shot down Chifuyu and is about to shoot Takemichi in the present. The anime has just released its opening theme before its premiere to raise our excitement.
On Sunday, the Tokyo Revengers anime released a non-credit version of their opening theme “White Noise”, performed by Official HIGE DANdism. It gives a nice glimpse of the characters including the new ones that only the manga readers know about.
Official HIGE DANdism also performed the opening song “Cry Baby” for the first season.
Tokyo Revengers has recently finished its manga in November 2022, with the 278th chapter being the last. An anime adaptation was released in 2021, which had 24 episodes and completed the Valhalla arc.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired. The second season will air on Disney+ on January 8, 2023.
About Tokyo Revengers
Tokyo Revengers is a manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on March 1, 2017, and ended its run in November 2022. It is compiled into 31 tankobon volumes.
The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki, who learned that Tokyo Manji Gang had killed his only ex-girlfriend from back in middle school. After learning about the incident, Takemichi was pushed from the railway platform.
Landing on the tracks, he closed his eyes, accepting his death, but when he opened his eyes, he had time-leaped 12 years into the past.
