Some current mangas have managed to awe us all with their unique storytelling, eye-catching art, and fresh approach. One such manga will soon get an anime.
Tokyo Revengers, the award-winning manga by Ken Wakui, will be adapted into an anime series as announced by unofficial yet trustworthy news source – Anime TV on Twitter.
The production of a live-action film for the manga was also underway but had to be halted due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The live-action is slated for release in Japan in October 2020.

Tokyo Revengers won the Best Shounen Manga Award in the 44th Annual Kodansha Awards this year. In the past years, mangas like Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, and The Seven Deadly Sins were awarded the Title.

We have to wait for the official announcement to know more details about the anime, its cast and production. The studio is likely to be Linden Films, according to the unofficial tweet.
The possibility of an anime adaptation has excited the fans as they now have both the live-action film and the anime on the cards. Although it might take a while before the anime is released, because of the pandemic.

Suddenly, he is transported to the past when he was still in middle school. Takemichi decides that he has to set everything right and rise from the rock bottom that he had hit. He needs to save his ex-girlfriend, and for that, he has to claw his way up the most dangerous gang of Kanto.
