Voice actor auditions for the role of the protagonist Ichigo Momomiya are being held via the mysta app. The auditions will be live all summer and are open to any females from elementary school age to 30 years old. Once the auditions are over, the selected candidate will be given an exclusive contract with Pony Canyon’s Swallow agency. 6. About Tokyo Mew Mew
Tokyo Mew Mew is a Japanese shojo manga series written by Reiko Yoshida and illustrated by Mia Ikumi. It was originally serialized in Nakayoshi from September 2000 to February 2003 and later published in seven tankobon volumes by Kodansha from February 2001 to April 2003.
The story revolves around Ichigo Momomiya, a highschool girl who is involved in an odd incident on a date. Her DNA is merged with the DNA of an endangered wildcat. 4 Other girls suffer the same fate as other endangered animals. They later find out that they have been chosen to be a part of the secret “Mew Project.” Their only goal is to defend Earth from an alien threat, which goes by the name of Deep Blue.
