Minamoto, Yoshiro and Aoi have joined hands to achieve this venture.

1. Chapter 74 Discussion and Prediction

After the statement that Kou made at the end of the chapter, fans had been speculating what he might be inferring to by bringing up the topic of “How a person can become a supernatural” to Yoshiro.

Maybe he’s warning Nene about Hanako as he must’ve done something terrible to become a supernatural.

Although it is true that Yoshiro wants to save Hanako and Aoi, it is also true that she wants to keep living and getting older too. So, there’s no reason for him to suggest something so crazy to his senpai.

Akane going full-on Big Brain was definitely the highlight of this chapter, but it will be interesting to see if Aoi, who placed above him in final exams, will be able to figure out what Minamoto’s group is going to do from the Far Shore.

Akane and Nene visit Minamoto’s house to discuss a way to meet up with Hanako and Aoi after they disappeared dauntlessly.

Completely exhausted by spending the day at the arcade with Minamoto, they first decide to dive into the mouth-watering meal prepared by Kou.

After the feast, they cut to the chase, and straight-up ask for a way to save Aoi and Hanako. Minamoto explains that due to ‘Severance,’ they can’t go to the boundaries, and the supernaturals in these boundaries can’t emerge to Near Shore either.

But Minamoto already has an idea on how to get to the other side. Akane successfully guesses how exactly he plans to go to the other side, and Minamoto agrees to take Aoi and Nene with him to the other side.

With that been decided, Akane is ready to bombard Minamoto with few other questions, but as it seems like it will take a while, Minamoto leaves to get something to drink. Meanwhile, Kou invites Yoshiro to talk in private.

6. About Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun

Jibaku Shoune Hanako-kun, also known as Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, is a Japanese manga series by Iro Aida.

It has been serialized in Square Enix’s shōnen manga magazine Monthly GFantasy since 2014. It has been collected in thirteen tankōbon volumes.

The manga is licensed in North America by Yen Press. An anime television series adaptation by Lerche aired from January to March 2020.

It follows the story of Nene Yashiro, a first-year high-school student who loves the occult and wishes for a boyfriend, summons the Seventh and most famous Mystery, ‘Hanako-san of the Toilet,’ a girl who allegedly haunts the bathroom after committing suicide there and can grant wishes for the right price.

Upon summoning her, Yashiro discovers that ‘Hanako-san’ is nothing like the rumors say, and Hanako is a boy. With a turn of events, she is spiritually bound to Hanako.
