The anime’s protagonist can be seen running towards something in the trailer with pretty scenery in the background. Her attire is designed in red and black, and she seems like a ninja or warrior.

The word “URVAN” is derived from the Japanese word “Obon,” a Japanese custom of honoring ancestors’ spirits. The ritual takes place in mid-August. This theme suits the trailer, which also shows two versions of a single world.

Toei’s new research and development team, PERO, had decided to animate this experimental video.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on-site research for the anime had proven impossible.

However, Toei came in contact with Nagasaki International University and used the photographs taken by students to animate the scenery as close to real-life as possible.
