Fushi is an immortal, a legend amongst people. However, does the immortal like what he is? Especially after watching his friends and acquaintances die again and again? To Your Eternity is an upcoming anime that will question the amount of pain an individual can bear.
Fushi, the immortal creature, will go on a journey that encapsulates ages. On his way, he will meet different kinds of people and he will take the form of any person who has a strong influence on him.
To Your Eternity has revealed that that the anime’s opening theme is “PINK BLOOD,” performed by Hikaru Utada. The anime will premiere on 12th April 2021 with 20 episodes.
The anime will premiere on NHK ETV as well as on Crunchyroll. Hikaru Utada has composed the theme songs for Evangelion 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and other anime movies. Fans are especially happy since Utada is serving as the OP’s singer.
Originally scheduled for an October 2020 premiere, the anime was delayed to April 2021 due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The anime’s production was hampered but now that the anime’s release date is approaching, fans are in a festive mood.
Fushi’s journey started as an orb but he kept evolving to take the form of any creature that had a long-lasting effect on him. He has made friends over eons, his companions range from a small girl to an old grandmother to knights and a fire-breathing human.
To Your Eternity is the brainchild of Yoshitoki Oima, the creator of A Silent Voice. Expectations from this anime is huge, but let me tell you, this series has the potential to stand out from other fantasy series.
With an awesome cast and staff selection, the anime is all set to make its debut, and make us question the concept of immortality and its purpose.
