A new journey begins as season 2 of To Your Eternity is announced.
To Your Eternity’s first season set some pretty high bar for the anime’s upcoming installments.
After Pioran departed, Fushi spent years wandering, to the point where he lost himself in the journey. Beyond just the sorrow, the show really managed to capture what life and death meant to an immortal, as Fushi asks the Beholder if she would be reborn as someone useful to him.
Fushi as a whole might be a ball with the ability to change into a stimulating object, but we were able to see more of his consciousness with the interaction he had with others as he wandered.
The production team announced the renewal of season 2 to continue Fushi’s eternal journey as the show’s popularity increased towards the end of season 1.
What awaits Fushi on this eternal journey? Will he ever experience those warm feelings again?
Release Date
Season 2 of To Your Eternity is scheduled to be broadcast in the fall of 2022, and will likely comprise 20-25 episodes in the second season. Crunchyroll and Netflix will stream season 2 of the anime.
There have also been some major changes to the animation production for season two, with Studio Drive taking over the production from Brain’s Base, who animated season one.

A visual drawn by the character designer Koji Yabuno was released to commemorate the announcement of season 2.
The visual illustrated Fushi, the immortal, with a gentle smile on his face.
The production team also released a teaser for season 2 of the anime.
The teaser began with the text “See no one. No more,” Fushi then stated his intent to not make connections with anyone anymore. Two new characters Hisame and Prince Bon were also introduced.
Plot/Storyline
Season 1 of To Your Eternity is comprised of 20 episodes and adapted until chapter 54 from the manga and concluded at Jananda Island Arc. Season 2 will likely pick up the story after the time skip from chapter 55 and will adapt The Guardians Arc and tease parts of the Renril Arc.
In the upcoming season, we will see Fushi meet his old friends and companions he has not met in years. We will also meet Hisame, a little girl who will take Fushi to a village that the Nokkers once destroyed.
Later, Prince Bon, a person who has the ability to see the dead, captures Fushi. They soon embark on a journey to aid the people and protect them from the Nokkers.

About To Your Eternity
To Your Eternity(Fumetsu no Anata e) is a manga series by Yoshitoki Oima. It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2016. Crunchyroll releases its manga in English. It is being adapted into an anime by Studio Brain’s Base and will be released on April 12th.
The story follows an immortal being named Fushi whose purpose is to gain knowledge of the world. He travels from Kingdom to Kingdom and witnesses humans displaying their emotions. As the story progresses, this being takes the form of an abandoned boy and his wolf.
