Episode 12 ended with Gugu’s tragic death by getting crushed under the debris. This was quite a shock for Fushi, who considered him as a brother.

He realized that the knockers will attack him again and again, so he decided not to anyone else and left Grandpa Beer’s shop. How will his new journey turn out to be? We bring you the latest episode updates of this anime.

1. Episode 13 Preview & Speculation    

In the preview, Rynn summons up her courage and tells her father that she won’t marry now since she loves someone else. But deep down, she knows that Gugu may never come back.

Meanwhile, Fushi is set out on a new journey, where he confronts his creator once again. They have a heated-up conversation, followed by a brawl between them. He soon disappears, leaving Fushi behind.

However, Fushi isn’t alone; he has Pyoran as his sole companion. He meets a lot of new people but stays away from them because he is well aware that death follows him wherever he goes.

Episode 13 of the To Your Eternity anime, titled “Will Towards a Higher State”, has been released on Monday, Jul 05, 2021.

3. Episode 12 Recap      

In Episode 12, the knockers reappear before Fushi and start absorbing his forms one after another. The creature has evolved a lot since their last encounter and has grown a lot bigger.

Gugu’s flame breathing isn’t effective anymore since the creature has a stone armor covering its body. He searches for an opening, but fails to find any as the creature is hiding deep under the stones.

With no other options left, Gugu poke the stone with multiple spears and creates a hole. He throws his flames through it, thereby burning it into ashes.

Atleast that’s what everyone thought, but its core somehow survives. The moment Gugu though that the threat is gone, the knockers crush Fushi before his eyes.

With that, the entire mansion starts crumbling and falls on their top. Ryn rushes to save Gugu but instead turns out to be a victim than a savior. Gugu risks everything to save her.

The two lovers express their love and kisses each other one final time, and the banquet hall falls over them. Rynn barely survives the accidents, but sadly Gugu wasn’t so lucky.

Fushi realizes that staying with his family means risking everyone around him. He decides to keep moving all alone, so that no one else has to die like Gugu.

To Your Eternity(Fumetsu no Anata e) is a manga series by Yoshitoki Oima. It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2016. Crunchyroll releases its manga in English. It is being adapted into an anime by Studio Brain’s Base and will be released on April 12th.

The story follows an immortal being named Fushi whose purpose is to gain knowledge of the world. He travels from Kingdom to Kingdom and witnesses humans displaying their emotions. As the story progresses, this being takes the form of an abandoned boy and his wolf.
