HoneyWorks is a Japanese Vocaloid orchestra, best known for its collaborations with CHiCO. They have performed multiple anime OP and ED songs, including O Maidens in Your Savage Seasons and the ninth opening for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Over the years, anime theme songs have moved our hearts, giving us a sense of belonging and as such it acts like a bridge connecting us with the anime itself. The fact that the upcoming series is based on a song makes it interesting as it is somewhat out of the norms.

The trailer begins with the main protagonist, Hiyori, who comes to Tokyo for the first time. She is overwhelmed and amazed at how many big and tall buildings are there in Tokyo.
Hiyori meets her classmates, and two of them turn out to be from the famous idol group “LIP x LIP”. She also makes new friends and at the end of the trailer we see an excited Hiyori all ready to run.
4. Plot
To Become Real Heroine: The Unpopular Girl and Secret Task follows Hiyori Suzumi, a high school girl raised in the countryside who loves to run. She decides to leave her hometown to enroll in Sakuragaoka high school in Tokyo and to join the track and field club.
On the first day of enrollment, she encounters Yuujiro and Aizou of the high school idol unit “LIP x LIP” who became her classmates. Hiyori does not want to get involved with idols and decides to look for a part-time job due to family circumstances.
The job that Hiyori finally lands upon is as an apprentice manager of LIP x LIP. Now, she’ll have to learn how to juggle school life, clubs, and her job while making friends.

I. Hiyori Suzumi
Hiyori Suzumi is a high school girl who loves to run. She comes to Tokyo from the countryside to continue in the track and field area. Looking for a part-time job in Tokyo, she ends up working as an apprentice manager of “LIP×LIP”.
II. Yuujiro Someya
Yuujiro Someya is a high school boy who is in the same class as Hiyori. He is an active member of the idol group “LIP x LIP”.
III. Aizou Shibasaki
Aizou Shibasaki is a boy student who is in the same class as Hiyori. He is active as an idol unit “LIP x LIP” with Yujiro. He has excellent skills and is a good dancer.
IV. Juri Hattori
Juri Hattori is a high school girl in the same class as Hiyori. Although she lost her uniform, she is bright and takes good care of her surroundings. She is friends with Hiyori.
V. Chizuru Nakamura
Chizuru Nakamura is a high school girl in the same class as Hiyori. She has a quiet and serious personality, but she also has an otaku temperament that makes her talk quickly when she likes it.
