The villains for season 3
The good news is that Titans are surviving another season and this has given us a chance to find out the next bad guy. Sources say that Blackfire, Starfire’s evil sister, will serve as the antagonist in the next season of Titans. Of course, Blackfire aka Komand’r, recently made her debut on the show in the ninth episode of season 2 called “Atonement,” (played by Damaris Lewis). Only briefly appearing in person via hologram, the episode established Blackfire as a dangerous threat and with it revealed that she had killed her own and Kory’s parents to seize the throne of their homeworld, Tamaran.
There are also rumours that Lex Luthor is finally going to appear in the show. The presence of Superman’s archenemy has been felt during the entire second season. Lex is also Superboy’s half father and during the second season, Superboy learns about his legacy too.
Interestingly, Lex Luthor is going to be the second Arrowverse villain to appear in the Titans. The first was Deathstroke portrayed by Esai Morales. Fans have widely praised Morales’ depiction of Slade Wilson for being either just as good as Arrow’s Manu Bennett, or even possibly better, so hopefully, the Titans version of Luthor will be a winner. Likewise, Blackfire should be a strong antagonist and allow Anna Diop to get some juicy material as Kory.
