Tires Season 2: Release Date, Cast, Plot and Everything We Know About

The first season of Tiers is currently streaming on Netflix, but the streaming giant has already greenlit a second season for the Shane Gillis comedy series. The six-episode first season made its debut on May 23.

The series was created by Gillis, Gerben, and John McKeever, who also executive produces it.

1. Is Tires Season 2 Happening?

Shane Gillis’ comedy series Tires has been renewed for Season 2 on Netflix. The news arrived just before the show’s Netflix debut, which is already on air. The second season of the series will debut in 2025.

Synopsis for Tires Season 1: “At his father’s auto shop, a hapless manager strives to improve customer service and drive profits while keeping his troublemaking cousin in line.”

Exec producers are Gillis, Gerben, and McKeever; Brandon James, Rough House; Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick, AGI Entertainment Media & Management; and Becky Astphan.

McKeever directs and writes with Gillis and Gerben. Tires is the second production under the banner of Dad Sick Productions, the production company formed by Gillis and McKeever after Gillis’ stand-up special Beautiful Dogs.

To make a TV show to the standard of Tires takes many person-hours and millions of dollars. Everything from scouting locations to booking talent and hiring people for the production crew is involved in the detailed process of shooting Season 2.

Filming for Tires Season 2 is likely to begin very soon, but exact dates have yet to be announced.

2. Tires Season 2: Cast and Crew

The series has a smaller cast, though with more resources from Netflix, that could change slightly. New characters could be added, and others could have more screen time, which would be great for characters like Cal and Kilah. Here’s the main cast of the show that’s expected to be back for season 2:

  • Shane Gillis as Shane
  • Steve Gerben as Will
  • Chris O’Connor as Cal
  • Kilah Fox as Kilah
  • Stavros Halkias as Dave

Some of the recurring cast members could return to reprise their roles in season 2, though some might not. Once Gillis and his team write and plan the new episodes, Netflix will likely start announcing more guest stars.

  • Andrew Schulz
  • Francis Ellis
  • Tommy Pope
  • John McKeever
  • Kerryn Feehan as Reagan

3. What could Tires Season 2 be about?

Tires Season 2 might pick up where Shane and Will left off, continuing with their peculiar family bond and the challenges each faces in their jobs. Audiences may hope to see more of Will’s knee-jerk reactions and Shane’s erratic humour and jokes.

Shane and Will’s personal growth could continue in Tires Season 2, for both were dealing uniquely with life’s ups and downs. Season 2 of Tires also brings new characters and plots that will add new humour and dynamics to the show.

Will and his father might look into alternative methods to expand their company in Season 2. They might grow their product ranges and add new services.
