Toss a coin to your Witcher! The Witcher live-action TV series premiered in December 2019 and received a positive response from viewers all over the globe. Henry Cavill, casted as Geralt of Rivia did an excellent job of portraying the character and fans are excited for the second season of the series. On the other hand, an animated film based on The Witcher was rumoured to be in development for a while.
Recently, @NXOnNetflix Tweeted out confirmation that an anime film based on The Witcher, titled “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf”, is on its way.
The rumors are true, a new Witcher story is in the works! The anime film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, will take us back to a new threat facing the Continent. Brought to you by the Witcher team @LHissrich and @BeauDeMayo, and Studio Mir the studio behind Legend of Korra.

Henry Cavill and Anya Chalotra performed well in their respective roles in the TV Series; however, no confirmation regarding their involvement in the film has been released. The film will be animated by Studio Mir, the studio responsible for Avatar: The Legend of Korra, which means that fans can expect really good animation.
Season 2 of The Witcher is currently scheduled for 2021 and will be in production soon.
