‘The Witch and the Beast’ is an upcoming anime for the adventure and dark fantasy thriller manga series by Kousuke Satake. It was also published by Kodansha in the Monthly Young Magazine.
Feral and with a burning hatred towards the witches, Guideau and her companion Ashaf, the carrier of a coffin is set out to get revenge. The target is the witches, who are nothing but the bringer of curses and disasters. The ominous duo is determined to stop at nothing.
The series is directed by Takayuki Hamana and will be adapted by Studio Yokohama Animation Laboratory, who has also worked on ‘The Great Cleric’ and will be streamed on Crunchyroll.

The Witch and the Beast (Majo to Yajū) is a dark fantasy manga series by Kousuke Satake. It started serialization in Young Magazine in November 2016, moved to Monthly Young Magazine in May 2021, and also has an anime adaptation under production.
