Vampires are said to be almost formidable with their superhuman strength and abilities, but not Draluc. The blood-sucking protagonist of ‘The Vampire Dies in No Time’ anime showed us how vampires could be of all kinds, and he happens to be a fragile one.
Season 1 was filled with hilarious instances of Draluc turning into ash by the most harmless things, and there’s going to be more of it. He and his roommate, vampire hunter Ronaldo are coming back for another lit season with their usual banter and adventures.
The latest promo video for ‘The Vampire Dies in No Time’ shows all the fun waiting for us in season 2, slated for January 9, 2023.
It begins with Draluc rambling on about something, much to Ronaldo’s chagrin, which turns the vampire into ash after being annoyed. The chaotic duo goes ahead with various quests filled with dangers and impeccable comic timing.
We also see some familiar faces like the dhampir Tou Handa, Hinaichi, Kantarou Kei, and more. The video keeps getting chaotic with scenes like Ronaldo asking everyone to kill Draluc and the latter scaring the hunter with celery.
Besides that, the video previews the season’s opening theme song, ‘New Drama Paradise’ by Jun Fukuyama, who voices Draluc.

Looking at the trailer, there will likely be a Halloween-themed episode, as many characters are dressed in costumes. Real monsters dressed as other scary creatures might sound ridiculous, but it will definitely be fun to watch.
Moreover, the anime will adapt more of the short stories we see in the manga considering the format of season 1. There might not be one main story but various ones which are all the more chaotic and hilarious.
I’m excited to see how Ronaldo and Draluc get on each others’ nerves, and we obviously can’t forget the ultra-cute John.
The season premiere is not so far away, and the franchise will reveal its streaming schedule soon.
