Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally Might Star in The Umbrella Academy S4

Nick Offerman and his wife Megan Mullally are all set to star in the fourth and final season of Netflix’s popular fantasy series, The Umbrella Academy.

The show, based on a comic book series of the same name, follows a dysfunctional family of adopted superhero siblings who must come together to solve the mystery of their father’s death and prevent an apocalypse.

The Umbrella Academy’s fourth and final season has just begun filming and has most likely already made its first significant casting choice. Megan Mullally recently disclosed in an interview with ET Online that she and her husband, Nick Offerman, are in talks to join the show’s cast. Read what she said below –

I mean, the deal’s not quite closed but let’s just pretend it is. [We start filming] in a couple of weeks.

Should the negotiations be successful, Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally would be the first new additions to The Umbrella Academy’s upcoming fourth season. The real-life couple is all set to play a married couple named Jean and Gene, respectively, who are both college professors.

Offerman recently gained critical acclaim for his performance in The Last of Us episode 3, a role that his spouse had persuaded him to take. Having previously collaborated on many projects, most notably Parks and Recreation, the two actors are familiar with working alongside one another.

The upcoming season 4 of The Umbrella Academy is expected to feature the main cast, including Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, David Castañeda, and Ritu Arya.

With season 3 ending on a cliffhanger, the final season will likely draw from the unpublished comics’ storyline, The Sparrow Academy, and see the siblings struggling to regain their powers, encountering more doppelgängers, and living in a world ruled by Sir Reginald Hargreeves.
