‘Snack Basue,’ written and drawn by Forbidden Shibukawa, debuted on July 13, 2017, in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump. Shueisha has organized its chapters into tankbon volumes. On February 19, 2018, the first volume was released. Thirteen volumes have been issued as of June 2023.
On Tuesday, the official Twitter account for Forbidden Shibukawa’s ‘Snack Basue’ manga revealed that it would be adapted into an anime. The announcement revealed a visual but no other information about the anime.
The main protagonists, Basue Kou Mama, Akemi, and the bar customers, are shown in the anime visual. Forbidden Shibukawa, the creator of the original manga series, remarked on the manga’s anime adaptation announcement.
‘The time has come,’ he remarked. That’s all there is to it.” Any further information about the anime, material, and cast has yet to be released, although it is anticipated shortly.
