The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement episode 19, titled “The Struggle,” has been released this week.

Last, we saw Escanor try to battle the Demon King on his own. He told his comrades not to interfere in his battle. He resorts to using his own life energy to boost the Grace of Sunshine which he received from Mael.

In Episode 19, Zeldris finally defeats the Demon King in the mindscape and takes back control over his body.

Episode 20, titled “Mortal Enemies,” is revealed at the end of episode 19.

After losing Zeldris as a vessel, the Demon King got desperate and possessed the entire land of Britannia as its vessel. This has put the lives of everyone living in Britannia at stake.

In episode 20, we shall see The Seven Deadly Sins all fighting together against the Demon King. They will defeat him once and for all to bring back the balance of the world.

We can expect Escanor to breathe his last breath after this battle since he has depleted all of his life energy.

Episode 19, titled “The Struggle,” starts off with Escanor fighting the Demon King surpassing his own limits.

Even though it is past High Noon, he is able to maintain his form and, on the contrary, has become even stronger. Everyone realizes that he is using his life force to maintain his grace, thus sacrificing himself for everyone.

Meliodas cannot see his friend give up his own life. So, he interferes in Escanor’s battle even though Escanor specifically told everyone not to do so. Meliodas would rather have Escanor get violent with him than see him sacrifice himself. 

Escanor expresses how he feels the need to repay the kindness shown to him by his comrades. He thanks Meliodas for helping him control his power by dueling with him every day.

Meanwhile, Zeldris is having his own battle with the Demon King in the mindscape. The Demon King tries to use dirty tactics, but it has no effect on Zeldris.

Zeldris manages to beat the Demon King in the mindscape. At the same time, Meliodas physically harms the Demon King, forcing him to lose control over Zeldris’s body.

The Ten Commandments are expelled from Zeldris’s body and are scattered around. Thus Zeldris gains back control over his body. 

Now having lost his vessel, the Demon King gets desperate. He resorts to using the entire land of Britannia as his vessel. The people of Britannia, although unaware of what is going on, are struck with fear. 

The episode ends with the Demon King feeling victorious after sensing the fear of the people of Britannia. However, he is caught off-guard by the Seven Deadly Sins, who look like they are itching for a fight.
