So far, we have seen Meliodas awaken Zeldris from his slumber by invading his mindscape. On the other hand, the Seven Deadly Sins were fighting fiercely with the Demon King.

Episode 19, titled “The Struggle,” is revealed at the end of episode 18.
In episode 19, we should see Escanor go all out against the Demon King. Even though it is past High Noon, he can wield his powers at more than his maximum capacity by trading in his own life energy.
However, due to this, we expect the demise of Escanor. He has made up his mind to die fighting for his friends.
We can expect the Seven Deadly Sins to intervene and prevent that from happening.

3. Recap of Episode 18
Episode 18, titled “The King Sings Alone,” starts off with Escanor fighting head to head with the Demon King. Escanor asks his comrades to stay out of it.
As the battle progresses, it gets more intense. At one point, Escanor has the upper hand, then all of a sudden, the Demon King has the upper hand.
However, it is past noon, and Escanor is not able to fight at full power. The battle has started to favour the Demon King.
The episode cuts to a flashback in which Escanor’s past is revealed. His origin is shown. Everyone secludes him out of fear because of his curse.
He leads a life in isolation till he meets Meliodas and the others. Meliodas offers to take Escanor under his care to prevent Escanor from being sentenced to death.
Escanor tries to escape from Meliodas and the others, concerned that he will end up harming them. To show that Escanor is not a threat to them, Meliodas asks Escanor to fight him.
They battle it out, and it ends with Meliodas easily overpowering Escanor, showing that Escanor being with them will not harm them.
Escanor is forever indebted to Meliodas and the others. He does not have to live a life in isolation anymore because of them and decides to pay them back by giving his life for them.
Although it is past High Noon, Escanor has not weakened. On the other hand, he seems to be getting stronger. Meliodas confirms that Escanor is no longer using the Grace of Sunshine but is using his own life energy to maintain his power.

The Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. It was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from October 2012 to March 2020, with the chapters collected into forty-one tankōbon volumes.
