The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement episode 23, titled “An Everlasting Kingdom,” has been released this week.

In the last episode, the Priestess of Chaos exposed Melin’s past actions to Meliodas and the others. They were made aware that everything Merlin did to date was to resurrect the Lord of Chaos. 

In episode 23, Gowther explained Merlin’s perspective to Meliodas and the others. The Seven Deady Sins helped Merlin and Arthur against Cath. Arthur expressed his vision of creating the Everlasting Kingdom.

1. Episode 24 Speculations and Discussions

Episode 24, titled “Heirs,” is revealed at the end of episode 23.

Despite being wary of the power manifested in Arthur, Meliodas and the others will help Arthur achieve his goals. If anything ever goes wrong and Arthur cannot control his powers, the Seven Deadly Sins will step in and get him back in control.

Since everything is at peace now, we will finally be able to witness the long-awaited wedding of Meliodas and Elizabeth. It will be the grandest celebration of their lifetime. 

We can also expect Zeldis to show up at his wedding to express his affection towards his brother.  

We may even get to see a triple wedding of Meliodas and Elizabeth, Ban and Elaine, and King and Diane.

3. Recap of Episode 23

Episode 23, titled “An Everlasting Kingdom,” starts off with Meliodas and the others losing their trust in Merlin after feeling betrayed.

However, Gowther explains Merlin’s perspective to them by putting himself in her shoes. He mentions how the Seven Deadly Sins would not have been supportive of her ambitions if she had conveyed it to them.

Meliodas finally understands Merlin’s perspective. Even then, he needs her to take responsibility for Arthur and guide him the right way. At that moment, all of them sensed the power of Chaos coming from Merlin’s location.

Arthur and Merlin are battling Cath, who was already defeated once. However, since he has the power of Chaos in him, he keeps regenerating.

To mess with Arthur’s head, Cath mentions how there is no point fighting as everything will come to an end, just like Camelot. Arthur, who is unaware of what happened to Camelot, is distraught, and Cath uses this chance to attack him. 

Merlin tries to protect Arthur, but Cath is overpowering her. Just as Cath is about to kill Merlin, Meliodas arrives and protects her. Meliodas tells Merlin that the Seven Deadly Sins will always be there to aid her. 

Cath uses his powers to put everyone into a deep sleep, showing them a possible future. Meliodas, shaken up by his apparent future, breaks out of the spell and helps everyone gain consciousness. 

Cath mentions that after consuming Arthur, he will use the power of Chaos to destroy everything. Arthur then uses his mind and realizes a way to defeat Cath. He uses the power of Chaos to consume Cath, defeating him once and for all.

The episode ends with Arthur mentioning his ambitions of creating the ideal kingdom, no matter what. Then, Meliodas and the others assure him that they will be there with him throughout his journey and help him achieve it.
