Dwayne Johnson Reveals That Black Adam Will Wrap Up Filming Soon

Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, has been busy filming DCEU’s upcoming film, Black Adam. The film marks his entry into the DCEU. Johnson has been keeping fans updated on his daily routine and the hard work that he’s been putting in in the past few months of filming. After all, it takes a lot to be a supervillain.

The movie has been in production in Atlanta. In February, Johnson’s copy of Black Adam’s script was spotted in one of his Instagram videos.

The recent update again comes via Johnson’s Instagram post. The picture shows the strict diet that he’s been following, but what caught our eye is the revelation that came through the caption.

In the caption, he mentions that the film only has three more weeks of production left.

“Doesn’t look like much, but here’s my Saturday night post leg training meal/ground tenderloin, brown rice with broccoli 🥦 & pineapple🍍(for digestion 😉) With 8oz-10oz of water.

All my 6 meals per day are strictly measured out – including water and sodium – as we go into our final three weeks of production for the filming of BLACK ADAM.”

Black Adam is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Otto Binder and C. C. Beck, the character is one of the archenemies of the superhero Captain Marvel aka Shazam, and the nemesis of the Marvel Family.

As reported by WE GOT THIS COVERED , reliable sources have said that Dwayne Johnson believes Black Adam is going to be the best film of the DCEU.

After many pandemic-related delays, production for Black Adam began early this year. The cast of Black Adam will include Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Sarah Shahi as Isis, and Marwan Kenzari in an undisclosed role. The film is set to be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.

Johnson has been attached to the role since 2014 and was initially set to appear in 2019’s Shazam! until producers decided to give the character a solo film introduction instead. Shazam! Fury of the Gods is set to release almost a year after Black Adam; maybe we’d finally get to see him face the Marvel family.

Black Adam is currently scheduled for a release on July 29, 2022.
