The Spirit Tortoise regenerated and began its attack again in episode 6 of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2, titled “Racing to Catch Up.”
It was an epic episode from start to end. It was gripping and full of action with some awesome music pieces to hype the scenes. Rishia and Fitoria took the limelight in this episode and single-handedly fought Kyo and the Tortoise respectively.
Kyo Ethnina’s plans failed, but it looks like he has more secrets and some other plans, and the Spirit Tortoise was just a part of it. Ost finally bid her goodbye in this episode and left everyone heartbroken.

Episode 7 Speculations
Naofumi and his party is going to chase down Kyo in episode 7 of The Rising of the Shield Hero season 2 titled “Infinite Labyrinth.”
We are halfway into the anime, and the first main threat is finished. Now, all that remains is for Naofumi to catch Kyo and stop him from creating more nuisance. We don’t know what’s lying ahead, and there will be many twists and reveals still to come.
I hope that the anime’s second half is as good as the first, and we get to see some awesome twists and action. For now, let’s just mourn Ost’s departure. #RIPOst

Episode 6 Recap
Everyone is shocked to know that Ost Hourai is Spirit Tortoise herself. The Spirit Tortoise woke up again and began its rampage.
This time, they have to destroy the Tortoise’s head and heart all at once. They wonder how it regenerated so fast. Kyo shows them the hanging body of the other three heroes.
He is taking energy from them to help the Tortoise regenerate this fast. Rishia is shocked to see Itsuki there. As the Tortoise is about to begin its attacks again, Fitoria shows up and starts defending its blows.
L’Arc arrives at the depth with the other two girls. Kyo starts attacking them using the power of the book. The battle gets in full gear both inside the Tortoise and outside it. Ost tries to open the path towards the core, but Kyo uses the gravity spell to make them immobile.
He makes fun of them, calling Naofumi a loser, but Rishia slowly starts to get up. She tells Kyo that he is a coward and begins moving forward despite the immense pressure.
She starts fighting Kyo while the others struggle to get up. Ost transfers her powers to Naofumi, then she opens the path for L’Arc and tells Filo to go with him. Kyo runs to stop them, but Rishia prevents him from doing that telling him to fight her.
Naofumi is shocked to see Rishia moving so freely even after the gravitational pressure. She can dodge all of his attacks and corner him. She breaks the glass in which he has kept the other three heroes captive. The stage to destroy the Tortoise is set, but Kyo forms a tough barrier around the core of the Tortoise.
Naofumi gets ready to use the wrath shield on Ost because Ost wants him to kill her, but it doesn’t work as he doesn’t feel any hatred toward her. Ost then takes over the shield with the power she left on the shield.
With that power, the shield takes a different form and fires a powerful beam towards the core, destroying it. The others destroy its heart as well.
The battle is finally over. However, Kyo escapes using some souls he stored for himself, but not before telling them that his main plan succeeded. He opens a portal and jumps into it. L’Arc also jumps into it to go after him as the hole is connected to their world.
Naofumi, however, is not able to get into the portal. She opens another portal for Naofumi, and they all get ready to jump. Rishia also tags along with them even when Naofumi wants her to stay.
While she is on her deathbed, Ost thanks everyone for their kindness and wishes that she would want to be their comrade if she were born again. She slowly fades away in the air.
